Came here for a special occasion. We ordered the savory soufflé, beef short ribs, beef wellington, scalops and a chocolate cake. The soufflé was amazing, the savoury taste of the dish really works well with its texture. The beef short ribs was also tender and juicy. We actually ordered wrongly but when it came we just decided to eat it anyway and it was the best dish of the day! The beef wellington was great but the short ribs stole the show for us that night! Cake was okay but overall it was still an enjoyable night and okay for a splurge once in awhile!

We celebrated my husband’s graduation with lunch at the Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill in Kuala Lumpur, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the luxurious atmosphere set the stage for a memorable dining experience. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, with staff who went above and beyond to make our celebration feel special. The food was simply exceptional. Each dish was a beautifully crafted balance of flavors, showcasing the high quality and precision you’d expect from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. We had high expectations, and every bite delivered. It was a perfect celebration, and we left feeling like we’d experienced something truly special. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to mark a milestone or simply enjoy an unforgettable meal!

The soufflé is really nice and savoury. Beef is cooked well, but will prefer them to serve on sizzling hot plate to keep it warm as the portion can take a while to finish before it turns cold. Sides are well cooked and flavourful . The Mille is too sweet to our liking, will prefer a more balance flavour . Satisfactory overall, but can be better with a bit more refinement in the mains and dessert.

My husband and I had the most unforgettable birthday celebration here. From the moment we walked in, I was in awe of the stunning interior decor and the exceptional, five-star service. Anthony, who served us, and all the staff went above and beyond to make the evening feel truly special. They even surprised us with a beautiful card and a complimentary non-alcoholic gin and tonic, which added a thoughtful touch to the experience. Thanks a lot Anthony for your superb service and everyone there! As fans of Gordon Ramsay, dining at his restaurant was a thrill, especially seeing a photo of the celebrity chef himself on the wall! Our three-course meal was incredible, every dish worth every penny. For any Ramsay fan, this place is a must-visit, perfect for a memorable celebration. We can’t wait to return to explore more of the menu and perhaps indulge in their afternoon tea. Highly recommended!

I recently dined at Gordon Ramsay's Bar & Grill at Sunway with my wife as part of the Stay & Dine package deal with Sunway Resort Hotel, and I must say that while there were some highlights, the overall experience left me somewhat disappointed. The food, in general, was average, with the exception of the beef short ribs, which were impressively tender. However, I was hoping for a more exceptional taste and texture given the restaurant's reputation. One aspect that was particularly disappointing was the additional charge for water. We ended up paying RM37 for a bottle of mineral water, which I believe should have been included in the package deal. This felt like an unnecessary and frustrating expense. On a positive note, the ambiance of the restaurant was great, and the service was decent. However, in a city like Kuala Lumpur, where there are numerous outstanding fine dining options, the overall experience at Gordon Ramsay's Bar & Grill fell short of my expectations. While I appreciate the effort put into the restaurant's atmosphere and the quality of the beef short ribs, I believe there are better dining choices available in the area that offer a more satisfying overall experience.

The service was impeccable, everyone was very welcoming and attentive. We were celebrating our anniversary here so the staff handed us a greeting card. We were also given complimentary drinks for our celebration. We ordered scallops as starter, beef Wellington and black cod as mains with Mac n cheese as side, and chocolate souffle and strawberry trifle as desserts.I would highly recommend the SCALLOPS. It was SO GOOD, yes pricey but the texture and the taste were beyond amazing. The other dishes were great as well but it didn't give me the “life-changing” feeling. I didn't get to try steaks so I'm not sure how they'd taste like, but I might recommend to get the steaks instead of the Wellington because it wasn't that impressive especially given the price (don't get me wrong, the taste was still great, just don't think it was worth the price).Overall, we had a great time here and would definitely come back if we have the money 😂

First and foremost, I would like to thank the management for hiring great waiters and waitresses, especially Fariq Benjamin, for serving at the table. Very professional gentlemen whom takes me and wife to another whole level of fine dining experience.Recommendations by him were very delicious. I indulged in all with a great smile on my face. It is my wife birthday today, and she was very pleased with the food and service.Would love to come back and try again on different items in the menu again next time.Only here serves halal beef Wellington so far I have come across. Maybe there could be somewhere better. But for now, this is the greatest.Thank you to the rest of the staff and not to forget the chef that cooks me and my wife's lunch just now.

Highly recommend trying this restaurant—at least put it on your wish list.I have been a fan of Gordon Ramsay and have been watching his show “Hell’s Kitchen” since I was small. The food was delicious. We ordered:•Beef Wellington: 5/5 (just awesome, not chewy/tender, just perfect 👌🏼)•Burger: 5/5 (very juicy and soft)•Salmon: 5/5 (just perfectly cooked)•Eel: 5/5 (sauce was good)The service was also top-notch. We were lucky to have a cheeky waiter, Mr. Marcus, serve us making our dine in experience even better. He was funny, humble yet polite, friendly, and catered to our needs, making us feel comfortable talking to him. He was very attentive and really made my parents feel so happy that day. My family had magical moment here and my father had an unforgettable birthday and Father’s Day celebration. 🎉

I have been a fan of Gordon Ramsay for a long time and had always wanted to visit his restaurant. Highlight to me was the Beef Wellington, which exceeded my expectations, with perfect tenderness and juiciness, complemented by the flaky puff pastry. The manager and staff were friendly, and we had a short tour of the restaurant, including a glimpse of the serving kitchen and wine cellar. It was an excellent fine dining experience.

Went here for the afternoon tea, and I was thoroughly impressed, especially with the savoury selection. The mini Wellington and mini Scotch eggs were outstanding, and the scones were simply divine. They also have a variety of coffee and tea to choose from. While the pastry menu didn’t quite hit the mark for me, the savory menu made up for it. To top it off, the service was exceptional—special thanks to the attentive and friendly waiter who made the experience even better.

There are a few options for vegetarian and gluten free, but not many.I give 5 stars for the cocktail. Really great drinks. I thought it was bit too much when negroni was served with smoke and all the props. But the taste was there. I still don't get the function of the smoke tbh.The martini, gin based with lemon amazing. I cannot complain any of it. Only the glass wasn't as sleek as it should be.Seared scallops are good. Very tender. The sauce was bit salty but not bad overall.Passion fruit souffle with coconut ice-cream was the star of the meal.Beef wellington - unlike the original recipe, they use chicken mousse (catered for halal) - wasn't bad, but not surprisingly stunning.Wine selection was somewhat disappointing.. but cocktails can compensate.Koffman fries.. I think they use normal kentang (potato in the region). It's not creamy at all. Quite disappointed. The interior is way too bling bling. But overall great service and decent food. It's all the way to Petaling Jaya, but fun to visit the outskirt of KL.800 RM for two cocktails, water, beef wellington, fries, broccoli, scallop and soufflé.

We had a nice breakfast at the restaurant and we had a good first impression. The staff’s professionalism, the service, the quality of the food, the ambience and the atmosphere were kinda great. The jazz music was a little too loud for a breakfast hours and it fits more to a jazz bar where people drink brandy or whisky and smoke cigar.Every morning went well as the staff constantly ( and busy) cleaning up our table and filling up drinking water without having to ask ( and even after we only had one sip).Until one day when my ( European) husband left for the hotel room while I was still having my breakfast. Surprisingly, neither my glass was automatically filled nor I could get the attention. After finishing breakfast, I left without drinking a drop of water.I was surprised by this attitude and that simply created a huge disappointment. I’m not sure whether it has to do with me being an Asian whilst my husband being a Caucasian or him being a male. He seems to get more attention when he’s present. It would be excellent if all customers are being treated equally regardless of their races or gender. Staff should be well-trained. The mindset should be adjusted.Extra tip: always take orders and serve ladies first

Finally made it there! We were there for dinner @22/9, reservation was made just a day before.Starters were Bone Marrow Tartine and prawns cocktail. Both were delicious. 4.5/5Then come the Beef Wellington, not over the top taste, not worth the price. 3.5/5The black Cod was good. 4/5We ordered Brocolini as Side, was delicious, above my expectation. 4/5Marcus served us, he service and knowledge definitely worth 5 stars! The cocktails were good, we tried pinata, g-tea and JAGERMEISTER.We also had red and white wine each glass. And one double espresso. No room for dessert.

We came here for dinner unplanned and without any expectations. Not a fan of beef wellington so figured that we should be safe.To our pleasant surprise, the food is pretty good esp. the Wagyu sirloin steak which was grilled almost to perfection - "almost" because the sauce was too salty for us. The bone marrow butter that came with our bread basket was such a treat. And the service was excellent. Special shout-out to our attentive waitor, Ben from Sarawak.Yes, the price is pretty steep but worth the quality. Definitely worth a try for those who are still doubtful.

Thank you to this restaurant and wonderful team for giving us such a beautiful experience at this place. We have always wanted to try the beef wellington, and this restaurant uses halal sourced beef without any alcohol. We wanted to have a good experience for our anniversary, and they really gave us an amazing one from the time we entered till the time we left. They gave us a cute letter for our anniversary and 2 complimentary non-alcoholic beverages which were delicious. Surprisingly, the star of the show was the bone marrow appetiser for us as it was our first time trying beef tartare and it honestly didn’t taste like what we expected for raw beef. Overall, glad to experience this for our anniversary. Thank you!

Overall food was up to par. Highly recommend seared scallops, personally think that Arnold Bennet Soufflé over seasoned, kinda salty. Hesitating whether to order beef wellington due to several negative reviews, turned out it was much better than I thought, especially the mashed potato on the side. However, service was pretty disappointing, no server accommodate our table after serving main course. Wanted to order some desserts, but due to above issue I decided to pass. Finally after 10 minutes I were able to settle my bill by the hostess (forgotten her name). She guided us through the restaurant taking pictures at beautiful spot, and her shooting skills are amazing. It’s my first time none of the server ask for feedback regarding our dining experience in a western restaurant, despite this is THE Gordon Ramsay’s Restaurant. Hopefully it’s due to lack of staff but not being picky on which guest to focus on. 0 attentive from the service crew.PS: Given complimentary drinks & card for our 7th year anniversary, but still.. hmm… oh well.

I came here because of Gordon Ramsay's reputation and my desire to try the legendary Beef Wellington, but today’s meal was an enormous disappointment! The lobster bisque was so salty it was like drinking seawater! The Beef Wellington was a disaster – I couldn't taste any foie gras, and the pastry was a soggy, greasy mess that made me nauseous. The dessert was so sweet it felt like an assault on my senses.Despite spending over a thousand ringgit, I forced myself to eat the terrible food, but the dessert was simply inedible—it was horrifyingly sweet! I had no appetite for the rest of the afternoon and evening, feeling incredibly queasy! The service was extremely mediocre and lacked enthusiasm….Your team desperately needs to improve and maintain standards, or this outrageous pricing is nothing but a scam, treating customers like complete fools!

Brought my fiancé to celebrate his birthday here.. we ordered the scallops .. it tasted so amazing that I almost had the urge to order another one 😂I heard from my friends that the beef Wellington was not very good but we tried it anyways. I on the other hand ordered steak.. turns out the beef Wellington was actually not bad! In fact it tasted better than my steak.. I was a little disappointed with the steak though. If you are looking to have good steaks, maybe this place is not suitable ..wanted to order the chocolate tart for dessert but they had discontinued the dish and replace it with soufflé. It tasted amazing as well 😍😍 not too sweet and for a chocolate fanatic like me.. PERFECT!!Staff was very friendly and very attentive to our needs. Will come back again to try out other dishes.Thank you for serving us!!

Exceptional Dining Experience at Gordon Ramsay Bar & GrillI recently had the pleasure of dining at the Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill in Sunway Resort Hotel, and I must say the experience lived up to the high expectations that come with such a renowned name. Here’s a breakdown of the dishes I tried:- Burrata:Unfortunately, the flavor was more reminiscent of a lemon cheesecake, which I personally didn’t enjoy. 1/5- Soufflé:The texture was perfectly soft, and the cheddar sauce on top was absolutely delicious! 5/5- Lobster Bisque:An excellent dish with rich flavor. 5/5- Tortellini: A standout — simply delicious! 5/5- Beef Wellington:The star of the night! It was served with halal red wine jus (non-alcoholic, as clarified by our server), along with mashed potatoes that were just as tasty. A perfect combination.- Strawberry Trifle: A beautiful and sweet ending to an incredible dinner.Overall, the food truly lived up to Gordon Ramsay’s name and reputation. I would definitely come back for another round of this exceptional culinary experience.29th september : 2nd tripThis was my second visit to Gordon Ramsay's restaurant, eager to try more dishes from the menu. This time, we went for the burger and the crispy crab cake. Of course, we couldn’t skip the famous beef Wellington—it was so good the first time that we had to have it again! For dessert, we tried the chocolate soufflé.The burger, to me, was average. I found it a bit bland, and the caramelized onions gave it a sweetness I didn’t enjoy. I’d rate it 4/10. The crab cake, however, was fantastic—crispy on the outside with flavorful bites inside, paired perfectly with the hollandaise sauce. I’d give it an 8/10.The soufflé, served with salted caramel ice cream, was the star of the meal. Together, they were an absolute 10/10!As we were celebrating belated birthdays for my husband and me, the restaurant surprised us with birthday cards and a complimentary drink, which added a thoughtful touch ❤️
