This PVC hose features a flame retardant construction is temperature resistant (up to 176°F) and is capable of electrostatic discharge (when grounded). It also offers exceptional resistance to chemicals along with acidic and alkaline materials. A: The Powertec 70220 Heavy Duty PVC hose is designed to work as a dust collection hose and can also be used in a number of different applications. It is constructed of heavy duty PVC, has a UL94-HB flammability rating and a temperature range of -50 degrees F to 158 degrees F. As long as the exhaust from your air conditioner does not exceed 158F, it should work for your application.

wrong size but easy return
I had the same issue as a lot of folks, I needed 5 inch and it came in at 5-1/4. I guess for this product 5 inches is the ID, not the OD. Color me disappointed with the size, but the return process could not have been easier. The virtual assistant is virtually useless, except if you ask it to connect you to a human and then things went great, so 5 stars.
