Nursing bras for bigger breasts (2024)

I am in the same boat, and after struggling for ages I decided I am just going to use normal crop tops while I am in hospital and for first few weeks at home with baby. Then, when breasts have settled after milk coming in, I will get measured and get proper nursing bra's from Bravissimo or something like that. I just don't have the mental capacity to go an search for bra's that are supporting enough. I am super pedantic about bra's so controlling what I can. Got some really comfy crop tops, that is not horrible and unsupportive, at Uniqlo and JojoMamanBebe.Hope you get what you are looking for! X

Aww its just so frustrating isn't it! I would love to just wear crop tops but my breasts feel so heavy I don't think anything will hold them up and it makes me feel dead insecure, I only wear bras from bravissimo so may have to do what you've planned, get measured once milk comes in. I'll try to find a link of what I used last time. They are 20quid from amazon for 3 or 4 and I have them ordered again.Now they def aren't as good as a good supportive bra, however they were comfortable and more supportive than others I tried. So really worth if for the first while.My breasts changed sizes numerous times first time round nursing so I ended up not bothering with any others as underwire etc isn't recommended and I didn't want blocked ducts etc. There's a brilliant site called boob or bust, which is very thorough to measure yourself on. Really accurate too. I would do that and order a few online from hot milk or whatever once you feel they might have settled size wise.

That would be great thank you! I normally only wear bravissimo bras but theyre so pricey cant justify spending that just yet incase my breasts grow even more so wanted cheap alternatives for the time being x

I ordered xl, I'm a size 14/16 and currently wearing a 36g,although I need a bigger cup size atm.Last time breastfeeding I lost quite a bit of weight and was down to a 12, although bust was more 32/34 h/j while nursing. They've arrived but I haven't tried them on yet, I'll try then tonight when I get home and give you a shout if they're a good fit or too big/small.

It's not even the growing lol it's the go up and down, one of mine was literally 2 cupsizes bigger than the other for a number of months. Still uneven now but not nearly as bad. So something with that bit of stretch is really handy. But so hard getting the balance right of supportive but stretchy when so 'blessed' (I say that loosely lol I def want a reduction in a few years 😅)
