Is a D passing at KSU? ›

Federal regulations limit the number of times a student may repeat a course and receive federal financial aid for that course. Generally, you can receive the Federal Pell Grant when repeating the same course up to two times (if you've received a passing grade both times).

This policy has no effect on any GPA requirements set by state or federal laws/regulations (such as the GPA requirements set by the HOPE scholarship program). A copy of the request and approval will become part of the student's permanent record file.
