Position SummaryReporting to the Manager of Windows / Virtualization Server Engineering, this position helps identify opportunities and deploy technical solutions that enable improvements to the delivery of patient care and business operations. Works with a cross functional IS team in the delivery of Windows servers and Virtualization, hardware and software solutions and services. Helps support Back-Office applications, as well as storage, as it relates to the Windows environment. May be asked to lead smaller initiatives in this area.
The qualified candidate would be responsible for installing, configuring and supporting Epic client software and infrastructure compenents. The Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) must have a strong Windows Server administration background and an understanding of Epic client connectivity architecture. This would include, but not be limited to HyperDrive, FHIR, MyChart, Epic Hyperspace Web, Epic Interconnect, Epic FIPS servers and Kuiper.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree or 2 year degree in business, healthcare administration, computer technology, information management or related field strongly desired.
1-3 certifications in related technologies desired
3-5 plus years of relevant technical experience working in large scale Windows and virtualization environments (both hardware and OS)
3-5 plus years of Storage Technology and a comprehensive understanding of current technologies and methodologies.
3-5 plus years of collaborative experience with other technical teams that have shown positive results.
Preferred Requirements
3-5 years of knowledge of healthcare IS solutions
