What is FirstNet? FirstNet is the only nationwide wireless broadband communications platform built with and for America's first responders and the public safety community.

It's simple to access or manage your FirstNet or FirstNet and Family account on att.com or with the myAT&T app. Just sign in with your FirstNet user ID and password.

ID badges or paystubs are the best eligibility documentation to submit. Only Field Technicians at Utilities are eligible for FirstNet service. IDs and paystubs must include your name, job title and agency name. Only one document type is required.

Sign in to FirstNet verification. Complete a one-time phone number validation, if required. Review proof of eligibility document options. Only one document from the list is required.

24x7x365 monitoring by trusted, experienced security professionals. Integral to FirstNet's capabilities is a dedicated Security Operations Center as well as a security engineering organization, both staffed by FirstNet security experts. The SOC: Monitors and manages FirstNet traffic 24x7.

One bill, one central point of purchase and dedicated, US-based service and support. You can be on the same account as other first responders in your household with up to 20 lines per account. Each FirstNet user on the account is limited to one phone, watch, tablet and hotspot.

The U.S. Army has selected FirstNet to support firefighters, law enforcement and security personnel at 72 Army installations across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Now, U.S. Army public safety personnel have access to an unmatched level of support as well as mission-focused tools and technology they can't get anywhere else.

NURSES & PHYSICIANS

Credits equal to 3 months of recurring service charges (incl taxes & fees) on a FirstNet Mobile--Responder plan for smartphone or tablet will start within 3 bills. Available only to eligible physicians and nurses who have, or qualify and subscribe to a new, FirstNet Mobile--Responder plan.

We have 2 types of eligible public safety entities, Primary users and Extended Primary users. Primary Users are Public Safety Entities that act as first responders, the agencies who are at an emergency scene first.

Do correctional officers get FirstNet? ›

In an effort to support these recommendations, FirstNet, Built with AT&T has expanded the FirstNet App Catalog to include apps that support the wellness and safety of first responders including correctional staff. The ResponderRel8 app provides peer-to-peer support for responder health and wellness needs.

If you don't take action or we cannot otherwise verify your eligibility, your FirstNet service will be hot lined. This will route all outgoing voice calls you make to FirstNet support. A FirstNet agent will then help you reverify your eligibility, move you to an AT&T consumer rate plan, or cancel your FirstNet service.

You have 30 days from the date you receive the first eligibility verification email or text to submit the required documents. FirstNet Account Management will send you email and text reminders every 5 days for 30 days.

If you're setting up your account, you can choose to get the code by text, email, phone, or mail. Text and email are the quickest methods. Once you get your code, enter the code when prompted and complete the steps. We'll send a one-time verification code to your AT&T wireless number.

FirstNet Messaging allows you to send messages to groups as large as 20K, get notifications when your messages are sent, delivered, and read, and supports messaging protocols TAP, SNPP, SMTP, WCTP and REST APIs. And adding the Secure Message package allows you to send encrypted messages for added security.
