Nature & Parks

Amboseli National Park is a natural sanctuary in Kenya that boasts an abundance of wildlife, including free-roaming elephants and over 400 species of birds. It is considered one of the top national parks in the country due to its stunning views of Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, which can be seen against herds of big-tusked elephants. Although cloud cover may obscure the mountain at times during the day, visitors are rewarded with breathtaking vistas during dawn and dusk.

A place like no other. Absolutely stunning scenery, especially with the backdrop of Kilimanjaro. An extremely wide range of animals ranging from tortoises to hippos. Saw 3 of the big 5 here (Cheetah, Lion, Elephant). There are big herds here, we saw 100’s of elephants in a herd and saw cheetahs twice with one even hunting. The plains make it much easier to see the wildlife compared to Tsavo West where we also went on our travels. Highly recommend to go to if you are looking at which National park to go to. It’s a smaller park to the rest but there’s lots to see within it!

Ewanerd — Google review

This is definitely something to do once in your life at least. It's really down to luck and a good guide to be able to see all the kind of animals the park hosts but you'll at least see lots of giraffes elephants and a variety of birds. Also buffaloes wildebeests impalas gazelles pelicans lions but they were a bit far baboons flamingoes and hippos. make sure to pack lunch so you can have it up on observation hill a cute romantic place hosting some really nice birds that will come quite close to you. The views are amazing and the overall experience is really unique. Things to know: bring passport and visa and if you're a non resident a card to pay with cause you won't be able to pay in kes or with ecetizen or mpesa apparently only residents or nationals are allowed these payment methods here. Strange cause my gf paid for me for tickets in other places with her ecetizen account or mpesa without any problems. Just be warned.

An amazing safari park.things I liked: it's a relatively small park, the drivers corporate with each other and stay on the roads without disturbing the animals, it's very easy to see elephants, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, wort hogs and wildebeests. you might also see lions, ostriches and Hippos if you're lucky.

Ido I — Google review

Best Place to See the Big Elephant Herds while in Kenya. The Views of Mt Kilimanjaro are Spectacular.Lion Pride's are in Plenty and if lucky spot them hunting.Recommend for everyone looking for a Wildlife Safari.

Samsons S — Google review

A small national park as compared to Masaimara. A desert like environment in backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. But they have enough wildlife to satisfy your eyes. We came to know this national park is famous for Herd of Elephants and also for giraffes. We found that was very true, the elephants was everywhere. Located many herds of lions. Also there was enough cheetahs lions wild beasts and many more. The sky was cloudy so we didn't get good picture of Mount Kilimanjaro. But the other things was good.

Trail B — Google review

One of the best places in Africa to watch elephants. It's is an absolute treat to watch these giants up close. Beautiful park. You can feel the grandeur of nature. And Mount Kilimanjaro stays there always in the background. A silent collosus watching us over.

Gajanan K — Google review

Amboseli is truly a unique place offering a one of a kind experience.Simply put, there's nothing like it anywhere in the world. Words cannot describe the experience. The majesty of mount Kilimanjaro, the grace of it's gentle giants, the diversity of bird and animal life make Amboseli a true gem of nature.

Shawn O — Google review

We were told this park is famous for elephants, and it is! There are also buffalos and flamingos, the experience that elephants walking by our fleet was amazing, plenty of flamingos, though only young ones not so pink yet. Unluckily we didn't see the mountain.

Linna L — Google review

If you are an elephant lover, Amboseli NP is the park for you-here you will see many herds of elephants, many more than you will ever spot in Masai Mara and you will have the opportunity to observe them quite close. I visited during the long rainy season, following a severe 2-year drought, so many of the savannahs were flooded, providing a unique opportunity to see hippos outside of the lake; walking, grazing and interacting. The birding was spectacular and because it is off season, it was extremely rare to have any other vehicles nearby, competing for viewing. There were times when we watched entire herds frolic for what seemed like hours.

Molly T — Google review

Fantastic National Park covering hundreds of square kilometers. Beautiful grasslands surrounded by mountains. Abundant wildlife sightings during safari. Many roads crisscrossing the park. A lot of elephants, zebras, flamingos, gazelles, giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, and other water birds. The views of Mt.Kilimanjaro are amazing. There are big wildcats like lions and cheetahs, but we did not see them during our three day stay.

L V — Google review

One of the most beautiful game parks, the views are unbelievable. Green, open views with plenty of game to see. We even saw majestic lion enjoying an afternoon siesta.Overall will come back again very soon.

Huzaifa H — Google review

Love this National Park- visited 6 months ago and decided to come back in different season. Even though the drought has continued to impact area, we still saw plenty of wildlife again... elephants, giraffe, cape buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, warthogs, ostriches, lions, couple cheetah, hippos, monkeys, and amazing variety of birds. The only negative part of the experience would be at the entrance/exit gate if you are traveling in a car- not flying in. If you're in an automobile and have any windows open, many people will come up to vehicle trying to sell you items and they are relentless.

Sheilagh Y — Google review

Loved this National Park. Visited for two days as part of a Safari. The Elephants were magnificent and numerous as were the Zebras, Giraffes and various antelopes

Duncan F — Google review

This is home to lot of animals. Specifically elephants. You will see the elephants in the groups crossing the roads. You will have walk with elephants. There are many other animals like cheetah lions wildebeest giraffe etc. park is well governed and maintained by rangers. 6 pm is exit time from the park.

GUJARATI D — Google review

This place is truly exceptional and offers stunning scenery, especially with the magnificent Kilimanjaro in the backdrop. The diversity of animals is astounding, ranging from the massive hippopotamuses to the elusive cheetahs. During my visit, I was lucky enough to witness three of the big five animals, including lions, cheetahs, and elephants. The vast plains make it easier to spot wildlife, and I highly recommend this National Park to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience. As one of the most renowned parks in Kenya, it provides a unique opportunity to witness animals in their natural habitats. The infrastructure is excellent, and while it's possible to explore the park on your own, it's best to get a guide. The guides are knowledgeable and provide invaluable insights, making the experience even more remarkable. There are also several comfortable lodges in the park that offer a cozy stay amidst the beautiful wildlife. The views are breathtaking, and I even witnessed a majestic lion lounging in the afternoon sun.Overall, I had an unforgettable experience at this stunning game park and will undoubtedly be back soon. If you're looking for an incredible adventure in the heart of Kenya, this National Park should be at the top of your list.

Kishan Y — Google review

Just incredible. Peace place with a lot of animals, you can see them really close. Its perfect if you love photography. Kilimanjaro views are just amazing

María — Google review

Great experience, truly home of the African elephant. Great scenery, and a spectacular viewpoint with a picnic area.Important note: On sunny days it's scorching hot and very dusty. Basically wear light clothes carry a hat, water and nose mask.

Simon M — Google review

This is a great park to visit. If you wish to see elephant in their droves this is the place to be . To see my Kilimanjaro ensure you visit early morning before 11 otherwise you probably won't see it from the observation hill. The tickets for Kenyan residents @ high season is 860 which you have to pay via ecitizen. Your choice of your travel agency will determine the experience you get therefore chose wisely

Lydiah W — Google review

One of Kenya’s premier national parks for megafauna. Go with a safari guide and try to stay inside the park if at all possible (an early game drive means more opportunity to see early riding animals such as lions). The environment is mostly open grassland so visibility is exceptional, and you can spot animals easily. I was able to get fairly up close to families of elephants grazing by the road, zebras, impala, wildebeest, and others

Matt — Google review

While you can't go off road like some other areas - the animals still come right up to the vehicle. This is a birder's paradise as well, especially for wetland birds.

Lyndsay G — Google review

👎🏻 The rangers are missing from the National Park and not doing anything to protect the animals. There was a herd of elephants crossing the main road and 30 or so tour vehicles parked on the road. It was so congested the elephants were all not able to cross the road and had to find another way. There are too many tour operators unfortunately and not everyone cares for animals. We just came from Masai Mara and it is very different there. The tour guides are mindful to keep their distance from any animal and they follow a max of 5 cars per animal so the animals are never crowded and allowed to be comfortable in their own environment.👍🏻 We saw herds of elephants from a distance and up close. The park is home to the elephants for sure so hopefully visitors and the local government will protect them.⭐️⭐️ tip: always keep arms and legs covered up. Because of the swamps nearby, there are all sorts of insects that will bite you. Use insect repellant and cover up as much as possible.

Minji C — Google review

It is such a nice place to visit whereby someone can enjoy the live watching of elephants and many more different wild animals move around. The place is so awesome

Micky I — Google review

I loved it here. Even on the day that it was flooded and cloudy. An adventure, amazing and you really feel as though you are in the wild with the ref soil and humidity of Amboseli. Really stunning, especially for birdwatching.Highly recommend.

This was the only game drive I have been on, but I was so glad I went. The view of Mt. Kilmanajero was lovely. And we got to see a good number of animals. I would recommend coming here.

Alisha K — Google review

Perfect place to spot herds of gorgeous tuskers. Probably the only place where one can spot so many elephant herds. Fantastic views of Mount Kilimanjaro 😍 I only wish the tour guides were not so money minded, i get a feeling it's all way too monetized than keeping the best interests of animals at heart. We didn't spot any lions sadly but giraffes and flamingos added to the beauty. Gorgeous place!

Priya G — Google review

Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season.

Cheruyot P — Google review

It was our first time visiting the safari with my family about a month ago. Amboseli National Park gave us an incredible experience. The sight of a hundred elephants against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro was truly priceless. We were able to explore five different habitats including savannah, woodland, swamps, rockland, and marshland. During our visit, we had the opportunity to spot cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, wildebeests, hippos, and various types of birds. However, we were a bit disappointed as we didn't get to see any lions or leopards. Nevertheless, this park is truly unique with its stunning view of Kilimanjaro and abundant wildlife.

Mutaz B — Google review

This is a national park worth visiting, with Kilimanjaro as a stunning backdrop. You can self drive all of it in 1 day as the road network within the park isn’t too extensive, which restricts how much wildlife you can see up close because they tend to stay away from the roads, so binoculars would be a plus. It has a wilder feel compared to the fenced conservancies so the animals are more skittish and not as tame around vehicles as they are for example, in Ol Pajeta, which gives Amboseli an authentic, wilder feel. The elephants cross from the forested areas near Kimana gate towards the marsh in the morning and back again in the afternoon, so you get to see them up close on the two main roads they cross. The lakes near the airstrip have plenty of flamingos and buffalo and from observation hill you will see hippos in the lakes below. An easy park to self drive around with plenty of wildlife both inside and outside the park. Accommodation inside the park and outside it near the Kimana gate are pricey, so if you are on a budget, the best value self catering options are to the north eastern side of the park, where the location is wild and remote but close to the park. The town of Kimana is a 30 minute drive or so from the park on a road with plenty of potholes to slalom around if you decide to stay there.

I am hoping to go back to this place in the future and give a better review.Nonetheless, I would advise anyone especially if you do not practice this religion to call beforehand. Hopefully someone will pick your call and inform you if you may visit. We were not allowed in because it was a public holiday, however those who practice the religion were going in. We were informed to come come another day that's not a public holiday or a religious holiday. For ladies, carry a scarf to cover your head if you don't already do so.The location is easy to access just along Mombasa road

Kishor R — Google review

Totally loved it. A Super friendly place with welcoming people and a serene ambiance to the place. We stopped by for a break on the Mombasa road, ended up taking a full vegetarian Sikh breakfast. The only condition was that you respect the place for a holy Temple that it is and cover your head with a freshly laundered scarf during breakfast, which they provide free of charge to all and any traveller stopping by for some rest and a break on a long drive. Incidentally, they serve food throughout the day and they even have a hotel class rest house that too is free to travellers for a short break. Donations are accepted and the box is definitely descrete and not in your face. What wonderful people. Definitely a place to stop by or even just visit for the serenity and the peaceful ambiance and undemanding friendliness that reminds one of such few pockets of Goodness and human Charity that still exist amidst today's changed World that sometimes feels like one is living in an alternate Universe.

A great way to spend a day with the family. This park consists of a wide variety of activities like Zip lining, boat rides, archery, a maze, quad bike rides for kids, horse ride etcIt caters to the needs of every age group. The prices of rides are very affordable.Suggest the property can be maintained a bit more in order to attract the tourists and drastically improve the toilet facilities as it was horrible with no water!A special mention to the Archery guy who was very polite, kind and patient with us while explaining how to take a shot.Overall a good experience.

Nature & Parks

Nairobi National Park is a large and important park in the city of Nairobi, Kenya. It is home to a variety of big game animals, as well as a number of animal sanctuaries. The park is an important place for people to see endangered species in their natural habitats.

Magical experience. I would recommend a morning visit during calm weather. You will be able to see lots of animals. Since they tend to hide when the sun is too hot. The during rainy season the roads are muddy.

Linah B — Google review

The park will surely present a pleasant experience if you know when to go. It is advisable to first inquire on when the best time to visit the park is as the main attraction of animals such as lions can be hard to find at times. Lastly I would highly recommend a guide as they know where certain animals can be found and crucially when.

Pen A — Google review

Conveniently located Right in the heart of the city. So for those of you visiting Nairobi for a short period, this is the park you need to visit.Check migration dates etc before you venture out so that you aren’t disappointed.I was quite intrigued but he ivory graveyard and the governments efforts to curb poaching by. Truly commendable. Was so happy to see two lions as well. Thankfully they had just eaten, so were resting and we got a fairly close up shot of them. You definitely need a local guide/driver to take you in or else you’d be happy hire lost.Yes it’s a trifle expensive for non-residents

I just love the fact that it is right in the city!!! So you can just take a cab and go.You see the animals very close. Even though the park is huge you have 99% chance to see them all! What more to ask!!! Really a must visit if you are in Nairobi.

Magali K — Google review

Surreal that a national park is present right in the outskirts of a city, a short drive away. Being able to see zebras, giraffes, crocodiles, ostriches, impalas and so many other animals up close was a delight. Highly recommended for wildlife enthusiasts and animal lovers.

Sreeram R — Google review

This is definitely a national treasure and should be on the world map! It was an amazing experience! We set out early early and apparently that’s the best time. We saw lions, zebras, buffalos, a giraffe , antelopes and even almost caught a hunt by some lions. Our driver was super amazing and really helpful. That really added to making it super pleasant

Ogwa I — Google review

It took 3-4 hrs to see the national park and animal orphanage. A wild animal habitat next to the modernized Nairobi. We couldn't see lions, but other animals were easy to spotted. Great place to visit next to the city and so relaxing and appreciate the nature.

Chan H — Google review

If you have a bit of time to spare, visit this park! The number of animals you can see here is astonishing considering how close it is to the city.We took a half day tour and found all of the animals we were hoping to see. Lions, black and white rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, impala, eland, masai giraffe and much more.I also counted over 50 different species of birds including white-backed vulture and secretary bird. Two species I hoped to see.

Tom B — Google review

Definitely not the most picturesque park in Kenya, but a great option very close to the city. Your best opportunity to see rhinoceros as they can be very hard to spot in the other national parks. The park is a nice introduction to Safari.

Very cool to be located conveniently in Nairobi. Good chance of seeing some good animals if you don’t have much time to spend in Nairobi. Overall I think it’s worth the effort to visit. Highly recommend booking a trip here. Pretty neat park and overall good experience.

Matt A — Google review

The good thing about that it is located in the center so you don't need to drive miles away to see some animals specially if you dont have enough time and they have many animals in side the park.....my recommendation is to be patient and don't make the drive rush you to exit and keep finding and tracking the animal..enjoy :)

Sherief S — Google review

A great place to be in contact with nature within a short distance from the city center. We saw lions, zebras, jirafes, hipos, ostriches, gazelles within a few minutes from each other. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star is because the roads are in a dire state and our vehicle kept bouncing, urgent maintenance is required. Given that we're charged an entry fee we expected that the roads would be in a good state.

Favo N — Google review

Lovely! We decided to treat the kids to a breakfast picnic at the park, followed by a self-drive game drive. The park roads have been freshly graded since our last visit so the drive was much more enjoyable. The animals were also quite in plenty. Best time though is early morning or late afternoon when most predators are out and about. We are planning another one soon... #TembeaKenya

This time was the first time to go safari and it was so good. I’ve been there at the morning so could see the most beautiful sunrise I’ve ever seen. Also, there were so many kind of animals in there than o expected so I was so excited and could have fan.I highly recommend this safari

Daigo — Google review

I visited this park in September, 2915. I still have a lot of pictures. Just wanted to share with you guys. This safari is about 100+ square kilometers. Tremendous amount of wild live. Need to spend a whole day there. Make sure your car/truck does not breakdown inside the park. It is scary to have that thought cross your mind. Definitely recommended.

It's always amazing to visit the Nairobi National Park, though it's my fourth visit, I always feel like visiting for the first time. This time arround citing the big cat with their kill was a great experience.

It was awesome 😎. I loved seeing two "weddings", one from the baboons, another from the lions 😎I loved seeing the "pembe" rhinos, I also saw where the ivories were burnt.. Nairobi national park is so exciting. The fun and how the tour guides communicate to make sure no one misses a nice view/scene. Buffalos too were gracious. And the hippos and giraffes... Amazing.

Nice place to be. Good place to get a wild life experience in Nairobi city within a day or a half day. Best time is early morning around 6 am.Make sure to create a ecitizen account before you go as you will have to make the payment via ecitizen app using a Visa card if you are a foreigner

Lahiru M — Google review

We spent nearly 4 hours in the park and absolutely loved it. The roads were a bit rough since it has been raining, but otherwise the experience was fantastic!

Liz H — Google review

Pretty cool to have a national park on the edge of a big city. Early morning rise for a quick safari drive and then back to Nairobi for meetings.

Killian C — Google review

Nairobi National Park is a national park in Kenya that was established in 1946 about 7 km south of Nairobi. It is fenced on three sides, whereas the open southern boundary allows migrating wildlife to move between the park and the adjacent Kitengela plains. Herbivores gather in the park during the dry season.

Ashok V — Google review

A must visit country in life. Beautiful landscape with zero pollution and many many adventurous tourist safari parks.

Taha M — Google review

it was 😎 awesome you get to experience the breath taking clean environment with beautiful animals and birds and plants too ... would advise most people to visit this place ...it's so cool and near the city 🌆🏙️

Lishan S — Google review

The views were breathtaking. Surreal. In the lap of nature you will find Gaboons, Rhino, Hippo, Giraffe, Lion, Lioness & Cubs, zebras and many such creatures. As a foreigner, it will be quite costly but it is definitely worth it. You should pro-book for better convenience. We hire a 4x4 gysp and we even got stuck in mud😁. A memory for life.

Anupam S — Google review

Magical time I had here, just less than an hour from the city centre. Went for the safari in the morning was a great choice - to feel the breeze while enjoying the sunrise with the wildlife animals around. Took the 4x4 with James as our driver - he was an excellent driver and guide!

Ellena E — Google review

The park as a way to fill in a day between flights and wow was it worth it! Our first national park but was a bit hesitant as it was so close to the town but we were not disappointed. We did have some issues paying the entrance fee as their credit card machine was not working and apparently often has issues.Lucky for us, our guide paid with his own card and we paid him the cash directly As soon as we went through the gates we saw animals almost immediately! The city skyline behind was just mind blowing If you have been to the Serengeti or any of the other great parks, this isn't spectacular, however we did see Rhinos , buffaloes. If we need to look at the beauty at the National Park will see that more needs to be done for the animals to make them more attractive. It would be easier to track animals for easy spotting. Sometimes we drove aimlessly for minutes. Looked like it was waste of time and the zoo would probably be the best bet. Getting to see the animals in their natural state is exciting. so it as great to tick that one off so early Worth the visit it. We saw lions and Buffalo.

Prince A — Google review

The only national park in the middle of a city!!It was so amazing seeing quite a number of animals even the rare species like Cheetah, ostriches, rhinos, gazelles those that you do not see very often in just one hour. Very easy to drive though on a rainy season you need a four wheel for it kinda gets slippery. Had such an amazing time there with friends. Lions are so close up for good photography. Quite herds of antelopes and giraffes not forgetting the beautiful scenery of the city from a far.🥰

Faith B — Google review

Very picturesque experiences...the city skyline in the background and brilliant nature! I'd recommend it to everyone either as a quick drive through or whole day "urban safari"Useful tip: Pay for your ticket in advance on e-citizen. It is valid all-day as long as you don't leave the park. It means you can pass by the Sheldrick Trust, Club House and Impala view point/picnic site among many other attractions

Assunta B — Google review

A nice experience but despite being out in the “safari” for several hours we did not see very many animals, at least not as many as expected.Be sure to book your ticket online prior to arriving at the park. You cannot pay at the entrance. Cell service is terrible at the park. Even on their WiFi.

Cobalt R — Google review

I recommend going early in the morning because it's not hot so you have a better chance of seeing most of the animals. I was happy to see the lions, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, impalas, zebras, guinea fowls etc. I would have loved to see all the big 5 though. The sunrise was breathtaking. It was a nice 3 hours drive.

Shannice G — Google review

Wow! So close to the city! Unbelievable drive through the park! Saw rhinos, giraffes, zebras, lions, baboons, Cape buffalo and many soft skin animals.

Many people skip this place for better known areas of Kenya, but it's well worth a visit. There are so many animals. We saw over 20 rhinos today, many zebras, giraffes, warthogs and different bird species.

The Elephant Nursery is a place in Kenya that takes care of orphaned elephants and rhinos. It was founded by Dame Sheldrick, a conservationist who worked with her husband to reintroduce these animals back into the wild. You can visit the nursery and adopt an elephant as a way of supporting their conservation.

What a truly amazing place and incredible experience. The volunteers at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust do a brilliant job of rehabilitating and looking after the elephants and it is very evident that the elephants are very happy and comfortable with their surroundings.Absolutely no mistreatment of any kind to the elephants which was wonderful to see.On to the experience itself: There is only a one hour slot to see the elephants which is 11-12. You will arrive and then walk to the area the elephants are fed. You will all stand around the edge of the enclosure and observe them being fed and playing. There are chances to touch the elephants and take pictures as they roam around. This all takes place while you learn more about the Trust and the elephants themselves.A few things to note regarding the experience as a whole:1. The ground where you walk, from parking up to seeing the elephants is extremely uneven! (I did see however provisions in place for wheelchair users)2. You do not get to feed the elephants (This is due to not wanting the elephants to get to trusting of humans as eventually they are released into the wild)3. If you go on a dry day the ground is extremely dusty! Your shoes and clothes (potentially) will get dusty for sure!Overall though an absolute must do experience in Nairobi!

Tom D — Google review

Such an amazing place, considering the work they do on behalf of orphaned baby elephants. The elephants are simply beyond adorable. It’s so fun, watching the babies play in mud and with each other and to pet them as they walk past. Also, while they enjoy playing in the muddy water, they can splash spectators with the muddy water, as they did the people standing around me (I had faster reflexes…lol)…such fun. Definitely a must -do activity.

Anthony R — Google review

A must visit for children or adults. David Sheldrick trust are doing a commendable work rescuing helpless elephants and rhinos. Book your visit in advance as the viewing time window and strictly one hour 11am- 12noon. Only limited number of spectators are allowed in so as not to stress out the animals. They way these babies understand cues and admonishes from the attendants like little kids is just adorable. They give you stories of each rescue and let you sponsor the orphans and send you regular updates on them. They give you time to ask questions at the end of viewing. It's a lovely place to be.

F20 S — Google review

You better book early enough just to avoid inconveniences at the gate. You wont be allowed to in without booking. Awesome place to learn about orphan elephants and how to take part in conservation. You can pay entrance fees to National park and use the same ticket at the shelter.

Alex K — Google review

Really nice experience. Baby elephants are super cute. They come in 2 groups of almost 20 elephants. In the meantime the head keeper tells the story of the nursery as well the story of each baby elephant. Total duration of one hour, 30 minutes per group. Totally recommend to everyone visiting Nairobi.

Vasilis D — Google review

Ellies!!! My favorite humans. Very interesting to see all the baby elephants. It was so much fun watching elephants run to get their bottles of milk. Also very knowledgeable tour on an hour of visiting them ! A must go place in Nairobi

Mansi D — Google review

An educational and preservation center, where the focus is on the baby elephants well-being.Do not expect a “circus show”, but some real eye opening experience. The baby elephants are presented for only 1 hour each day, during this time you can observe them feeding and playing.I appreciated the lead caregiver explaining the history of each baby elephant: where was found, in which condition, what happened to its mother, how it evolved in the nursery and of course its name.

Iulian M — Google review

Buen lugar para ver elefantes/rinoceronte de cerca. En época de máxima afluencia puede ser difícil. What wonderfulness this place is to teach and learn about these gracefully stunning animals. They had ten fine Giraffes who all seemed very happy to munch half a coconuts feed from our hands. Breeding and maintaining a small herd in great facilities. Lovely shop too full of things, including one of the best chess sets I've ever seen. Come here and get up close to some charming gentle giants. Look out for the warthogs, too! If you are into sustainable biodiversity and conservation, then you must visit.

We came excited to feed and take photos with the giraffes. It was fun to feed them and take photos. A must see for kids and adults who love giraffes. There were baby giraffes too ! It doesn’t take more than half an hour to go through the park. There is a museum section that you can learn about the history of giraffe center. There is another raised boardwalk section that you can feed giraffes and take photos. The area has lots of security, is clean and well maintained. There is also a small stand to have food and drink when you are done. Multiple wash stations are available to wash your hands. There could be more improvements in terms of maybe having more activities for kids. Maybe a section to have a giraffe centered playground. As we were leaving we saw a trail that was open to the public across the center and we went it for about five minutes. We didn’t complete the trail though. We didn’t know how long it would take and there were no signs describing how long it would take.

The giraffes are so cute and photogenic. park is accessible and the staff is friendly. My only issue is that there was no indication that the park doesn't accept cash until you get there. Interesting little park with different animals from Kenya. There is a lot of information about flora and fauna and the best thing for the children is a free-roaming young giraffe which can be fed and petted.

Peter S — Google review

There has been much amelioration concerning the infrastructure and the way the animals are being taken care of compare to some months ago. You can admire lions, leopards (often on top of tree), cheetas, a buffalo, guinea fowl, a baby giraffe and other animals. If you get a guide (normally for free) you will be able to know the history behind each animal (abandoned, parents killed, were injured etc and from where they came from). Price of tickets are affordable and to be paid by mpesa. Easily accessible by Uber or own transport. Parking available.

Wonderful place. Exceptional experience. Must visit. Go early in the morning. Take own water. A bit dusty. Open roof vehicles are better. Safe for children. 43 dollars for foreigners. Payment by electronically only. Better to carry the passport.

Shahariar S — Google review

Wow what a wonderful place. Seeing so many wild creatures just hanging out and doing their thing.... peaceful wild and beautiful. Love the contrast of the park and the city scape off in the distance. How many cities can boast to having a national park in their boundary

Few of the restaurants are closed but there is one working. The Education Resource center is beautiful. The environs within the Animal Orphanage is very green and relaxing. There are Masai traditional dancers to welcome visitors. Support them by paying for their performances and for taking photos with them. They can also lend you their traditional attires for a more interactive session with them.

Good area to learn about nature and wildlife, the safari walk is a must do, much better than the orphanage, if you must choose one. But both are good.

One thing I love about Nairobi national park is the roads, you don't need a 4 wheel drive to drive on them, even a small two wheel vehicle will do.Those who will read this, this is what I do, you can always contact me when in Kenya or Nairobi for a ride or a tour drive.

REUBEN T — Google review

Nice place to take kids to see the various animals if you are unable to go into the main park, there is a variety of different animals on show including lions, cheetah and zebra, lots of monkeys roaming freely and mingling with the crowds which is good for the kids

Dan M — Google review

Midday visits not always the best unless during feeding. Most animals were less active due to hot temperatures I guess.Just ensure you have eCitizen access for payment purposes. The new system is really delaying the process of payment

Nairobi National Park is a unique gem located right on the outskirts of the bustling city. It's amazing how you can spot giraffes, lions, and rhinos with the city skyline as a backdrop. A must-visit for nature lovers and a great escape from the urban chaos.I appreciate the efforts made to protect the wildlife and ecosystem of Nairobi National Park. It's a crucial reminder of the need to preserve our natural heritage. If you are in Kenya and want to visit this place, the better would be to leave your hotel as early as possible. The early you enter into the Park, the more you will see animals.

Ahmad H — Google review

Located right inside the Nairobi national park, it is a great place. I love it. Taking care of our wildlife is such an amazing work from our people.

This visit is a must.Wonderful to understand why they are there and what they do. The Animals looked very well taken care of. My heart Was stolen by the lit rhyno, those bloody hyenas and his tail :( . Thank you for educating us.

Denise W — Google review

Amazing. There were 21 orphaned elephants when I went, and 2 black rhinos. We arrived early, so we did have to wait (maybe 15 min? 10 min early + 5 to open gate). You absolutely need to get confirmation of booking beforehand. Highly recommend after an early morning Safari. The team at the orphanage were very knowledgeable and gave very good information about the animals.

Natalie L — Google review

You get to see the animals up close and been fed .It's sad to know they were orphans and therefore some of them can't survive in the world like they should. Got to see lions, monkeys, leopards, cheetah, different types of birds, hyena etc

Diana M — Google review

Top tier experience. They are doing great work for these animals. Donate if you can

Nairobi National Park was an amazing and adventurous experience! The close proximity to the city allows for a unique blend of wildlife and urban landscapes. Seeing lions, giraffes, and zebras against the backdrop of Nairobi's skyline was truly breathtaking. The game drive was filled with thrilling moments, and the park's conservation efforts are commendable. A must-visit for any nature enthusiast!

Steve M — Google review

Very interesting park there weren't many animals but enough to enjoy the safari. We did get to see an uncommon Giraffe kill by the Lions.

Diana M — Google review

Its amazing… so many animals to see and so close to Nairobi. In the park there is 4 of the big 5 living inside. Reported 60 lines, cheetahs, black, rhinos, white rhinos, giraffes, warthog, and palmers and many many more.

Yuzel73 — Google review

Nairobi Animal Orphanage offers a captivating experience with diverse wildlife. The facility, although not extensive, provides a close encounter with rescued animals, fostering a strong conservation message. The staff's dedication to animal welfare is evident, creating a positive atmosphere. Educational signage enhances the visit, offering insights into each species. However, the limited space can be a drawback for some visitors seeking a more expansive setting. Overall, it's a commendable effort in animal rehabilitation and education. Nairobi Animal Orphanage earns four stars for its commitment to conservation and the unique opportunity to connect with rescued creatures.

Points of Interest & Landmarks

The Uhuru Gardens Recreation Center is a large park that includes walking paths and monuments honoring the first place Kenya's flag was flown. It is a great spot to take a break from the city and relax in peaceful surroundings. The prime usage of Uhuru's inclining slope is as a stadium seating facility.

The gardens were officially declared a National Monument in 1966 because of the historically importance.Of importance to note is that it is Kenya’s birthplace. This is where the first Kenyan flag was first raised and thus marking the very first year of independence on the 12th December 1963.Within the garden are two monuments commemorating Kenya’s independence, and a Mugumo (fig) tree. The Mugumo tree is symbolic as it was planted on the spot where the Union Jack (British flag) was brought down and Kenya’s national flag was first hoisted. The site was a diversity of native flora and fauna of savannah woodland. In addition to the historical significance, Uhuru Gardens continues to attract various events as a recreational park. It is popular as a rest area for families and friends, a must visit for schools and in recent times has gained popularity as an events venue for corporate launches, concerts, weddings, film location just to name a few. For those who are looking for a secure jogging spot, this is the perfect location for keeping fit.Future plans will include improving the park to have a wider variety of leisure activities for all. The Mashujaa/ heroes Corner will also be adjacent to this beautiful park which will mark as a reminder to celebrate our Kenyan heroes. So next time you pass by Langata Road, walk or drive in to enjoy our rich heritage that lives on through this park.

Nairobi Mamba Village offers a great place to learn about the lives of crocodiles, as well as other animals at the leisure park. There's also a restaurant on-site where you can enjoy local food and activities.

A good recreational center. Slightly under utilized at the moment due Covid-19, but now things are beginning to pick up. You get to see crocodiles, kids and adults crocs, ostriches, do a boat ride, and enjoy nature. There's even an archery 🎯 club here.I loved it 😍

Jimmie S — Google review

It was good being able to tick my bucket list activities this day. The place is not far from the road: one can walk from the bus stop terminus: the arrows are very helpful.Prices are: kshs 200 adults kshs 150 children under 12 I.e Kenyans. It was nice seeing the crocodiles being fed at the scheduled feeding times: we witnessed the 4.30pm feeding time. Kids friendly and kids are able to see a replica of what they see on likes of natgeo. The place looked deserted at some places: hopefully they are able to revive and use all the space that's available and have more for us to see.Washrooms were not easily accessible: ones found near the boat riding place were locked.Boat riding was very nice: calm and refreshing

Kawira N — Google review

Went to Mamba Village for an event...you guysssss we had to pay for entrance to the Village separately from the event tickets. That was wild to me 😂😂 And then we had to pay Kes 100/- or Kes 200/- for every game / ride that the kids played 😂😂. Like WTH?The grounds were separate from the actual crocodile farm which disappointed my daughter quite a bit.The food was great but the overall experience was not great. Can absolutely do better.

Gakii B — Google review

I feel like the place should be revamped, renovated and improved just like giraffe centre. Mamba village has really deteriorated over the years

Nice place with a variety of things to do and see. Enjoyed the boat ride alot 😘archery, crocodiles, tortoises, and ostriches.Adult trampoline also available which I found to be amazing, and also kids park.

Mercy S — Google review

If you are interested in seeing crocodiles, tortoise and ostriches within Nairobi, this is the place! Feeding of crocodiles happens at 4:30pm.The place has a good atmosphere for a picnic (you can bring your own food and sit next to the small waterbody on site).Going by the art pieces on the walls & walkways, deserted amenities like the restaurant & club, play equipment, mamba village is no longer what it used to be. Perhaps a reminder that seasons come and go! When down, the only way to go is up :) Mamba village's light will shine... someday!

Kevin K — Google review

lots of crocodiles and other species on site such as turtles, peaco*ck and some slide and swings available for kids to play with.

Mohammed M — Google review

We pass by this place once a week just to take our minds off things. My children love coming here bits amazing for adults too. The ambience here is just so relaxing you want to keep revisiting it.It's a great way to spend the weekend a must place to visit it. Plus the staff our so friendly.

Ummul J — Google review

Online they have posted very nice photos. What you see is not what you get. The crocodiles are less than 20 and the 3 ostrich only. Very poor service and when I complained there was no reaction, was just being told there are crocodiles and ostrich and fish. I saw no fish.It was a waste of time and money. I would not advise anyoneWho is not ready for a big disappointment to go. This place is a big joke.I would not recommend the place even to my worst enemy.

Helen W — Google review

Nice place, so many crocodiles, tortoises and ostriches also present. Fishing is allowed, boat rides are available. There's however no restaurant, washrooms are extremely dirty. The place looks underutilised and not well kept overall. Can do so much better.

Martina M — Google review

My family really enjoyed the place.Good tour guiding. The staff at the play area were really hospitable.Kindly revive all the other sections for an even better experience. Definitely coming back!

Redempta M — Google review

I wouldn't recommend it completely. It is very sad the place has run down and is in ruins. Looks abandoned and like a ghost town. Staff are trying the very best to make sure guests are comfortable but the environment makes it difficult to enjoy or even relax. This is a complete disaster. Art Gallery shops closed and dust settled indicates it has been closed for so long.During my visit some I observed school kids playing in bouncing castle, enjoying horse rides and being offered boat rides. Perhaps they were the only happy people at the facility. The cashier didn't have change but when I asked to pay using Card he found change somehow.Alot needs to be done to change the place. It still has potential but alot of things need to be done. For now it's a big NO for me and a huge disappointment.

Johntez N — Google review

The place looks abandoned. Atleast when i visited it which is shortly after writing this review. There is a lot of crocodiles. Some are huge too. You can also see ostriches and if you're lucky get to hold their eggs. There are activities which include horse riding which go for KSH 200, boat riding, and archery 🎯.While I was there, the prices ranged from KSH 200 for resident adults and KSH 1000 for non-residents. You can also do fishing. However, the atmosphere is a bit boring, the place is a wreck, most of the buildings are abandoned, some structures are damaged and dirty.

Edwin K — Google review

Crocodile 🐊Tortoise 🐢Ostriches are cool to seeLake side view is awesome…Yes Sunday 16.30hrs is feeding time for the crocs and not to be missed. Though when we went due to the cold climate no croc was interested to eat and were in hibernation phase mostly…The ambience though is not that good and looks restaurant and shop is closed forever and made ghost like appearance… need to improve as compared to the pictures seen before and now make a huge downfall…

Mandar K — Google review

Exactly across De La Salle school is the Mamba village. To reach there you need to go through a cobble stoned road which is demanding for the vehicles. In the village you get to see crocodiles, turtles and ostriches, plus you can have a picnic there or take a boat ride. In general a beautiful and peaceful place. Personally I had a difficulty leaving the place as my uber drivers were cancelling. As I said the road is in bad condition. Still, this shouldn't deter you from going.

Vasilis D — Google review

Mamba village was probably one of the best picnic spots back in the day, but has really gone down since I last visited. There are still a few positives; bandas are available. You can barbecue to your heart's content, but bring your own grill. Boating, fishing, horse riding are still options. All in all, the place needs an upgrade. But you can still have a fun time with family.

Specialty Museums

The Kenya Railway Museum is a comprehensive and interesting museum that celebrates the rich history of the railway in Kenya. The museum features locomotives, coaches, a mini railroad, and more, and it's dedicated to the history of the country's rail network. It's an excellent place to learn about the role of railways in Kenyan development, and it's also fascinating to explore its collection of artifacts.

It's a nice place to visit. It's very historical and very cheap. It has history about Kenya railways in pictures and objects. There is a display of trains at the train yard. Guides are available but I wouldn't recommend them. It a nice place to visit especially in the weekdays you will have all time to yourself

Tyson O — Google review

There's an unexpected cafe at the museum with the most affordable prices. Delicious Chai is like 60ks and their samosas are amazing.Great place to spend with friends or family. Took awesome pictures.Tip: Tickets need to be bought through e-citizen website. There is a lady there that can help.

The Kenya Railway Museum is an awesome and very informative place to visit, and at only 200/-... Affordable. It has a history bit where train models as well as furniture and accessories used during the colonial era are placed. There is also a guide on hand to offer information. The train "relics" that are outside are marvels to say the least, and massive. There is also an art shop where one can purchase or request for customized art pieces. Make a point of visiting it, and marvel at Kenya's rail history.

Awesome place to go and check out all the engines. The exhibition itself and information on the history is very basic and limited, but some interesting photos and documents. Once you get outside though, they let you climb around on all the engines and have free rein to explore so it's great fun and really worth a quick visit for an hour or two.

Finlay P — Google review

Good place to check out the history of the railway. There are beautiful murals along the path way towards the museum

Winnie M — Google review

What an amazing place if you are a railway aficionado! Extremely well maintained. The locomotives and heritage coaches take you to a totally different world. Alas their gift shop did not have anything worthwhile except from Tshirts and caps. Full marks to Kenyan Railways for ensuring that this place continues to be well maintained and tourist friendly.

Vineet A — Google review

Entry is 200bob for an adult Kenyan Resident. It's easier to access it through shell petrol station, however you can access the place through technical university of Kenya, quite a nice walk (in my opinion).

This place gives an amazing insight into the history of the Kenyan railway system and the collaboration of the Indians and Kenyans.Don’t miss the man eater lion pictures inside.

SAAHIL K — Google review

First time visiting this museum. I entered through the TUK side and the walk to the museum was a really nice one. There are nicely lined trees and a well maintained walk way with graffiti walls. I was informed that the work was done by the artists that used to be in the small independent art workshop in the museum. They are not related though. I do not know anything about trains nor am I particularly interested in them but I still wanted to visit. Payments are made through e-citizen. There are three rooms with various models of trains, ships, old technology and the history of the railway. I thought it strange that both the current SGR and the old railway both faced interesting obstacles. One was man eating lions and the other was strange weather phenomenon( rumours... But very ear catching rumours either way🤔). There was also a very old calculating device that looked like a lot of work and I would be quite interested to know how it works. Some of the things on display were quite interesting and I had a few ohhh... moments. The last place is outside where the trains are. Unless you have a guide or have a very keen interest in trains, you will just be looking at old trains. I felt that more could be done here. Some trains are quite worn out on the inside as well. Since I don't know anything about trains nor am I particularly interested in trains, I cannot say much about this section. There is an art gallery as you enter the train section. They display art by various artists and they do have a sip and paint. If art is your thing, you can check them out.

Nice place to visit for an afternoon you are within the capital of Nairobi. The museum has rich exhibits from east Africa's rail history since the early nineteen hundreds. Outside are various locomotive engines and some passenger wagons that were used then. They are well kept and maintained for future generations to View. I highly recommend this visit very interesting and amazing. You will learn more about the Kenya railway. Very interesting and would highly recommend!!

Gavin C — Google review

This museum is tucked away behind Rubis petrol station off Uhuru Highway & Haile Selassie Avenue. It's reasonably priced and has a lot of unknown historical knowledge about the creation of the East African railway. We had a very knowledgeable & friendly guide called Michael who explained how the railway idea began all the way through to the present time. There were plenty of pictures, articles, models, old & new artefacts to see & any questions regarding the process & progress of the creation of the railway were answered. The actual locomotives & carriages once used in service & even movies are on display in the yard. There is also an art gallery on site.

Edwin M — Google review

The Kenya Railways Museum is where art meets history. There's a lot to see and to learn as you go about your tour. The ambience is historic, clean and great to walk in the footsteps of those who came before us. It's a great place for a solo date and spending time with Kenyan history. There's great set options for railway themed photoshoots. You've got to love it.

Brenda K — Google review

Good to say you've been there at least once but there's not much to do..During the day the weather is nice but it gets very windy and cold in the late evening into nightfall so carry warm clothing! If going for an individual tour, it could be nice but if you are going for an event.. you need to be well prepared! In the rainy season, you're better off going in gumboots because the mud will ruin your shoes. On the other side of the tracks there are mini boulders so you need to wear comfy closed shoes to avoid any injuries cause the ground is heavily uneven! For bigger events you need to be prepared especially ladies. There's barely any tissue so carry your own.Toilet paper is controlled by a man that yells at you for taking more than 2 squares of the toilet paper. If you want more, he will demand you "buy him a soda" for his generosity. There was barely any running water in both washrooms so carry enough wet wipes and sanitizer.

Paula A — Google review

Museum of natural history from time in memorial of the lunatic rail to the standard gauge railway. We have evolved😂

Joseph H — Google review

A nice place to pass your afternoon and learn a thing or two about trains and their evolution.

Felix K — Google review

Another testimony to the incompetence of Kenya’s museum system. The once impressive main attractions are rotting away without any care given to them and the staff is unable to explain even the basic function of a steam train.Inside the exhibit the newer parts remain partly built, as basic tools are missing as we were explained. The children’s railway, which could be great fun for little visitors, has not seen any maintenance in years, is overgrown and completely inoperable.Even the cheap entry is not worth it, especially as the museum staff seems to not care at all about anything here.

Christoph F — Google review

Nice place to visit for an afternoon. The museum has exhibits from east Africa's rail history. Outside are various locomotive engines and some passenger cars. They do need to be maintained better, especially the passenger cars.Nobody minds if one enters the locomotive, it's great fun!

The memorial park is a peaceful, beautiful spot located in the downtown area that commemorates the victims of the 1998 bombings of the American Embassy. The entrance fee is only 30 shillings, and it's totally worth it if you ask.

Located at the "corner" of a busy roundabout is located a small gated park. Surrounded by a wrought iron fence. The site of the old US embassy partially destroyed during the '98 bombing attack. The majority of the dead were Kenyans working in the building next door, which was levelled to the ground. The embassy site was demolished and this park was donated as a memorial to the 200+ perished. However there were thousands injured who still live with the after effects.Entrance fee is 50 KS...which includes the maintenance fees for upkeep. It's mostly benches around a grassy knoll with the view of a memorial with names of the perished. The small museum next door also has a nominal fee of 150 KS. The small museum has a small collection of artifacts from the victims and a small room describing the events of that day. There's a 15 minute video as well which is pretty informative.Overall I spent 45 minutes at the location to pay respect to the fallen.

The park costs KES50 to enter (cash), the museum is another KES150 for foreign adults. I didn't know much about this incident learned a lot. It's all very sad and I'm not even American or African.

A small park with trees, benches and well kept grass to sit and relax. All the trees are indigenous trees and they have all been labelled if you enjoy learning about trees. The benches all have a saying in one of the many local languages. The pavements are surrounded by pebbles that were got from local rivers around the country. All these is symbolic to the unity all Kenyans showed on that fateful day. There is the memorial wall on one corner of the park with the names of all those who perished and in front of it is a small fountain in the yin and yang shape. You can use the park to relax, read, meet up in a safe space or even yoga in the morning. The entrance fee is KES50 and they only accept cash. Everyone at the park is very helpful. If you are around the area do stop by. The money you pay goes to the maintenance of the park as well as to pay the workers. I wish it was bigger to get in a good walk. This is not a walking park but more of a sitting park. The peace museum is also accessed through the park.

Entrance fee at the gate it KSh 50. Make sure you have cash because they don't accept mpesa or credit cards.A good place within the busy city to hold meetings and conferences. Good for catch ups with friends, no recreational activities available. If you are within town and you need a place to take a break from the busy day, you can consider going to this place. It's peaceful and very clean. I loved it

The August 7th Memorial Park is located at the 1998 United States embassy bombings scene along Haile Selassie Avenue in Nairobi, Kenya. It contains a notice board listing the names of all people that were reported dead after the incident. The AUGUST 7TH MEMORIAL PARK functions as a Centre of outreach to the public, to educate Kenyans on the appalling consequences of terrorismHaving emerged from a traged; the Memorial Park stands as a symbol of peace and optimism in our contemporary world many challenges. The Park is in the city centre next to the roundabout on Moi Avenue and Haile Selasie Ave junction, about 200m from the Nairobi Railway Station.

Beautiful and serene garden within the CBD. Though a memorial of the August 7th terrorist attacks on the Kenyan people, the garden provides for an oasis of quietness and tranquility for those seeking a homely place to relax while in the busy City

Sande P — Google review

Very well maintained. Security is very good. A nice place to visit and reflect on the effects of terrorism. Also the names of those who passed during the attack are well documented. May they rest well.

Conference & Convention Centers

The Kenyatta International Convention Centre is a prominent landmark in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi. The building was originally constructed in the 1970s, and features an impressive rooftop helipad that offers stunning 360 degree views of the city. The interior of the convention center is relatively outdated, but there are occasional exhibitions that are worth checking out.

I absolutely loved visiting this place! The architecture is stunning, and the scenery is beautiful. I highly recommend checking it out, it's truly a fantastic experience.Photographers will especially enjoy capturing the vibes of Nairobi and its Central Business District.

Omar — Google review

Well-maintained place. I had a chance to visit the rooftop with friends. The charges are Ksh. 200 per head. The views of Nairobi from the rooftop are breath taking. We even managed to see planes taking off and landing in Wilson Airport. The air at the top is clean and soothing.

Jael G — Google review

It is a fascinating place especially for school trips in primary school..like come see the tallest building in Nairobi cbd as they used to put it.It hosted the recent Mater Heart Run for 2022,it was spacious and security was tight at the entrance. The event was fully packed, the emcees of the show were entertaining for kids and teenagers and adults as well.

Kawira N — Google review

This building host many national and international conferences. It is also the best place to view the entire city by paying for a rooftop lift ( about USD 10-15). At the rooftop you'll see most of the city and have a feel of Nairobi

Chirag B — Google review

Probably one of the places you must visit during your stay in Nairobi. The view is good, price for foreigners is a bit high, but OK. What I didn't like is organization of exhibition itself. There are no evident signs where to go and the exit to the platform seems a bit dangerous. The view is amazing.

We had a delightful time at the Ceramic Exhibition held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi. Centrally located and boasting impressive infrastructure, KICC made for the perfect venue for such a creative showcase.Aside from the fascinating ceramics, we were pleasantly surprised by the KICC's cafeteria. Their selection of Indian food was particularly delicious, a welcome surprise for us. The overall experience was truly enjoyable, leaving us with lasting memories of both the art and the venue's hospitality.

Nitin K — Google review

The place is so monumental with a lot of activities like workshops, trade exhibitions and entertainment concerts to learn from and have fun. I attended the manufacturing expo and I learned a lot about the local and international manufacturer. Indians are taking over in the manufacturing business. We need to improve our manufacturing sector to be at per with the likes of India and China.

Edwin B — Google review

Graintech event was amazing. The serene is captivating. The environment clean. I loved the place.

Rhodah M — Google review

The experience of KICC is something else. Being on the rooftop gives you the Nairobi County Experience, as you can see the entire city with all of its skyscrapers, the Nairobi Express Way, and the Industrial Area in Nairobi.

The Maasai Market is a colorful and affordable open-air marketplace that features vendors selling handmade jewelry, textiles, and beaded bowls. It is located in various locations across the country, so there is bound to be one near you. This market is popular for its inexpensive prices and wide variety of products.

A pleasant place where one can find almost all Kenya's authentic traditional items; colourful handicrafts, jewellery, clothings and shoes, wood carvings, souveniers, art works, decorative items, leather products, different ornaments made from gold and different kinds of stones and other natural materials... It also gives the opportunity to interact with the local people. The Massai Market is usually open on saturdays and sundays at the heart of Nairobi. Ofcourse we found the price fairly affordable.

Redwan J — Google review

We visited the Masai market located near the high court. They have a variety of African themed decor pieces, clothes and different types of beads. We met quiet a few friendly venders. One thing you need to keep in mind is to negotiate especially if you are a foreigner. Also be careful of your surrounding when you are in this area. Overall we had a good experience here

Fatma A — Google review

come prepared to haggle!make sure to confirm the location before you head out.it can seem aggressive, as the shop owners will approach you to buy. a lot of the same items, so be sure about what you want and look around at everything BEFORE you buy!

Toluwalope O — Google review

This market has spectacular African curio from wall hangings to jewelry to attires,,,you name it.The challenge is they are quite highly priced

Sly S — Google review

A great range of handmade souvenirs. Expect to need to bargain heavily and deal with friendly (but determined) sales banter, but still a really good place to get gifts etc. Do check which days it’s operating here (eg for our visit it was here on a Tuesday) as the market moves around the city each week.

Ian L — Google review

Trevor K — Google review

Amazing place to get a variety of items, African art, home decorations, t shirts, toys, hand made drums. It's all there

Goodric M — Google review

Good experience at the market. Venders do ask you to look at their goods but were very respectful when we said no. Our trip was fun with me even dancing with a lady vender in the market and my sister trading her hat for a wooden sculpture. We bought a few masks and felt we got a very fair price. I found the people very lovely. No one was rude to us when we didn't buy from them. No one tried to act as our guide and we walked around without hassle.

The Maasai Market in Nairobi, Kenya, is a vibrant and culturally rich experience that offers visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the traditions and craftsmanship of the Maasai people. Having visited the market myself, I can attest to its authenticity and the memorable experiences it provides. One of the standout features of the Maasai Market is the wide variety of traditional Maasai crafts available for purchase. From intricately beaded jewelry and accessories to colorful clothing and footwear, the market is a treasure trove of handmade items that showcase the exquisite artistry of the Maasai community. The craftsmanship is impressive, and each piece tells a story of Maasai heritage and culture. What sets the Maasai Market apart from other markets is the opportunity to engage with the artisans themselves. Visitors can interact with the Maasai sellers, learn about their craft, and even watch them create their works of art. This personal connection adds a depth of meaning to the items purchased, as you gain insight into the cultural significance of each piece. The vibrant and lively atmosphere of the market is another highlight. Traditional Maasai music and dance performances add to the ambiance, creating a lively and festive environment. It's not just a shopping destination; it's an immersive cultural experience. However, like any bustling market, haggling is expected. Bargaining is part of the fun and allows you to get the best deals on your purchases. Additionally, it's important to exercise caution and be aware of your belongings, as crowded markets can be prime spots for pickpocketing.

Bruse O — Google review

Cool place to buy souvenirs and gift items. Carefully haggle the prices properly so you don’t get ripped off. Most shops sell similar stuff but find a nice vendor with with variety. Avoid 3rd wheelers who want to show you around if you want direct conversation with the vendors. Altogether a great place for value.

HARRY C — Google review

The place is a good stop to do all your Kenya trip shopping. If you can bargain effectively, The prices are the best compared to any tourist place across Kenya.

GAURAV T — Google review

This market is open only on the Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and it offers a lot of craft work and indigenous items that would appeal to tourists and culture enthusiast. It's located at the car park of the supreme court and was quite busy on both times I went there. Ingenious clothes and materials, carvings, woven items, wood work, bags, slippers, jewelry, I could go on and on. The sellers are quite courteous and friendly. One must be prepared to bargain as the sellers are well equipped. It's a must visit location for all tourists

Gbubemi A — Google review

The market haven't been doing every day. There's a possibility that it's being done on days like Sunday and Tuesday. The Maasai Market, located near the Kenyatta International Convention Centre, is the place where the most shops gather and where it is most lively.

Daisuke S — Google review

Everything Kenyan!!! Beautiful artefacts and clothing, loved the kiondos, jewellery and clothing the most. Be ready to bargain for your best price :-) My partner is all for supporting local talent so this was the perfect place to spend our afternoon shopping.

Iam M — Google review

Walk around and find out the prices first. The first price isn’t the fixed price!Go early in the morning before the sun becomes too hot and the market too crowded, there are beautiful items here that work well for home decor and gifts. It’s amazing seeing all the talented artists working on their art as you’re making rounds In the market. The market feels relatively safe, however just keep your eyes open.Shop and enjoy!

The Kenya National Archives (KNA) is a major national archive in Kenya, with holdings dating back to the colonial period. The archive houses extensive records on Kenyan history, as well as records from surrounding African countries.

I learnt so much here about the history of not only Kenya, but also other African countries such as Ethiopia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and others. Very beautiful and well equipped. For only Ksh.50/= you get to enter Archives and learn history and also photos are allowed. If you haven't visited this place, would definitely recommend that you do especially if you love learning about history.

I loved my experience at the documentary site. Almost everything about the Kenyan history up to date, entrance fee is very affordable, very nice staff ready to answer to all your questions, there are wash rooms inside the facility. No taking photos at the 1st floor documentary. Beautiful artifacts. I loved the Kenyan history 😍

One of the most iconic landmarks in Nairobi's CBD, located along Moi avenue on the front side and Tom Mboya street on the back. This is where Kenya's records are stored they charge a small entrance fee. You can go here and research/find out about our country's rich history. It's a common meeting place in CBD.

Great collection of Kenyan and African historical artifacts and documents. Needs more light however and more events to let people know that it is open. General public is encouraged to donate items from their homes that could have historical value for display and preservation.

Rosario A — Google review

The entrance fee is affordable and it's a good place to learn more about the history of the various cultures in Kenya and Africa, and even leaders dating back to before Kenya got her independence. The only downside is there is no guide to explain the various cultures that have been represented or even the history.

Johnmark O — Google review

This is a common country symbol for every country. Show cases national heritage, history as well as prominent people both politically and other life facets. It's quite magnificent but it could be better if we pull a page from Ethiopians and Tanzanians.

I visited this place 2x. One was a school student and most recently as a researcher. I was doing research for a friend coming to visit Kenya. Now, I am not big on history or documentaries but the place is so epic and rich in history and ambience. Please please check the place out whenever you can. It's cheap to go, and full of nice people. No taking much pictures.

The Nairobi Gallery is a museum and national monument in the heart of Kenya's bustling capital. The gallery features contemporary art from Kenya and Africa at large, and is set in a historic building constructed in 1913. The Nairobi Gallery strongly connects to the citys history, contributing to its cultural development.

It was fun and unique and I've never really known it was there it had some cool pieces on display and was pretty convenient in town too definitely recommend the place...

Paul is an incredible tour guide! Be sure to take advantage of the free guided tour offered. Local art for sale is not to be missed. Great gift shop with watercolors, cards, and baskets.

Amelia M — Google review

It is like a very small gallery plus a very small museum. Totally like 300/400 square meters, it is like a 4/5 bed room g+0 building. It is really very small.Museum, like three room with something, woods, clothes, one living room of a older president? Not sure sorry. no comments.Gallery, two room with normal artwork with a price tag from 20,000 kes to 100,000 kes. Nothing special same as anywhere art shops you can find in Nairobi. Not recommended at all.By the way tickets price for citizens 150, residence 600 and non residence 1000KES.You need write done your phone number and passport number and in and out time at the gate. So I noticed mostly people stay there within one hour.

Shun — Google review

Lovely art work on display. Definitely worth a visit.

Martin K — Google review

Good tour and gallery of african artifacts from jewellery to ”money”. Also kenyan history was covered well.

Mikael A — Google review

This is the national gallery, but is absolutely not a national gallery, but a tiny museum with one small room with contemporary art that is no way reflects the quality of the Kenyan contemporary art scene. As a national gallery, it gets one star. However, as a tiny museum, which it is, it is a 4 star visit. The tour guides allow you to touch items like the textiles and shields, which depending on your interest might make it a 5+ star visit. The building itself was the first British records keeping office, while the building behind which is now the passport office, was where Kenyan independence fighters were imprisoned and tortured. The building is small and one of the largest rooms is dedicated to the man whose collection this was and showcases a room from his house. Sadly that isn't a poignant conceptual piece, but rather an unironic ode to the collector.

Britt F — Google review

An amazing small but rich gallery full and rich in history worth of a visit

Nairobi O — Google review

Such an amazing collection of diverse artworks from Kenya and Africa!! Fabric, sculptures, photos and books from the Murumbi Collection. Some books are encased behind glass but apparently copies of them can be found at Archives (to be checked)It's mostly quiet even beside the highway (but it was a Saturday) and hardly visited. More people should visit this place!!

Hellen M — Google review

Not necessarily tourist friendly entry or signage. Suppose it’s a challenge due to location between highway construction and immigration building. Once you do get in 1000ks tourist fee seems worth it, I guess? The building is beautiful and not highlighted enough nor appreciated, maintenance is lacking. A star off for that in hopes that maintenance is in the future.Once inside a quiet place with decent information and large collection. Begins with contemporary Kenya artists but quickly shifts to more traditional arts and crafts. Overall the place. Could use a good update, or rebrand and certainly cleaning. If into weaving and fabrics this is a good visit and covers quite a portion of Africa. There’s also a large collection dedicated to the founder of the collection, Joseph and Sheila Murumbi. Then there’s a wing with items for sale while another for amateur art. I guess I was expecting a deeper dive into national artists as opposed to art of Middle Africa, and the life and times of the founder of art collection.

Tim M — Google review

What a place to visit for anyone who appreciates creativity, art and culture! It was so wonderful to see the collections of artifacts and exquisite display of some of the most creative minds and hands in Kenya, East Africa and beyond. Here, you get to appreciate the diversity afforded to us as a country, and even as humanity, and render it all beautiful. It is a center to go feed your soul and eyes with elegannce

Emmanuel M — Google review

Very nice, small museum based on the personal collection of a Kenyan statesman and collector. Many African cultures are represented. There are exhibits on metalworks, dolls, fabrics, paintings, sculptures and other media. I especially appreciated that there are a lot of signs with information about the art. You must enroll online in the ecitizen program in order to pay the entry fee. It is 150 ksh for Kenyans, 600 for East Africa residents, and 1,000 for other visitors.

Jess L — Google review

The collection is splendid and quite insightful. I would recommend more research on tags and information behind some pieces. Its better when you also get a guide.

Gideon L — Google review

Very ambient space especially on a weekend. One can enjoy some coffee in the cafe as well as enjoy the African artifacts collected by Joseph Murumbi

Charles K — Google review

Kenya's history is in here. It's a good place to come with friends. Rich cultural artifacts available. You can also buy art.

John E — Google review

It is absurd that you can’t buy a regular ticket as a foreign visitor. You have to register at some website which took us 25 minutes. If you don’t have an ecitizen-account, you just can’t enter the museum. That’s not really user friendly.

The security is tight up in this centre. It’s located is a very busy fast pace area. Drivers be wilding out, it’s like they don’t see pedestrians. One of the older malls in Nairobi. Convenient location and good assortment of stores. Parking is easy but a bit tight for larger vehicles. My Land Cruiser could not fit well.in standard parking spot. Escalators seem to always be out of commission. Management can do better here. Finding shops can be a bit difficult due to layout. The age of the mall is showing a bit. However a great.place to meet and have business meetings. Location location location!!!

It was one of the most high-end shopping experiences I've ever had in Nairobi! The shops and services available make it a litteral one-stop shopping destination. There is even a kids' play area on the top floor of the parking garage accessible by the covered bridge spanning from the food court.Got my wife an amazing Puma purse that I could never get in the States from Deichmann's. Also, all the food court restaurants had servers to make it a dine in experience. My host had never had Indian cuisine, so we ate from Cinnamon's menu and had the butter chicken and the curry fish. Awesome food, friendly service as she answered all my friends' questions (in his native tongue lol) and great prices! 👌🏾

It’s a nice contained mall. They have the famous Art Cafe. They offer an interesting selection of clothings with shops that are good to buy gifts. They have a Turkish Halal shawarma restaurant upstairs which I’m looking forward to trying soon. They have a super market which is super convenient. It’s a chill mall with nice staff. It’s located strategically where you can have lots of traditional street food restaurants, clubs and cafes. I think it’s a nice spot for tourists to stay and see Nairobi city culture and diversity.

Yaya is expensive to be at as they expect you to pay 50 for parking even if it was for a minute or two and on top of that there was water in the basem*nt parking. The mall doesn't have many options to choose from and is quite small. Zoo

Nature & Parks

The Snake Park is a zoo with a wide range of snakes, crocodiles and tortoises in glass and open-air enclosures. The park was founded in 1961 to provide an ever-present fascination and to help with the rearing of snakes.

Highly recommend this spot. Unassuming building and location within the museum grounds, but well worth the additional fee and time. See all sorts of endemic venomous snakes, crocs, alligator, tortoises, and turtles. Keepers will come around and let you hold boas, and touch the tortoises with supervision. Go see it!.

Dan B — Google review

A decent collection of snakes, some lizard's, and tortases. An older building that shows it's age. Worth a visit if you're at the national museum.

David L — Google review

I did not have very high hopes, but I was pleasantly surprised. Purchased a joint ticket with the museum on E-citizen. It is not a very big park, but this allows you to read about each snake in the park. They also have a small aquarium, and a few other reptiles. The guys at the park were super friendly and I got to hold two different snakes, a tortoise, a crocodile plus a little baby one as well as chameleons. First time being peed on by a snake so will definitely remember this visit. You can also get a guide and they are very knowledgeable and eager to share. The location is great since there are so many other things to do as well. It is not ideal for animals to be caged up and I did feel really sad for them. It was shocking to learn how solitary most of these species are. Overally, an afternoon well spent.

Susan A — Google review

Loved the experience, guide can be free - they allow you to touch a snake. I didn’t liked the fact that snake was kept secluded in a box. There were few reptiles roaming around in the courtyard. If you have likeness for snakes, this place is for you. If you find them creepy- do visit as an escape room experiences. Show stopper - Black Mamba 30 minutes death if they attack

Gautam S — Google review

A special park in the heart of Africa ... Well organized, clean and the animals looked after and fed properly .... Sore point is that the creatures aren't quite in their habitat

AeroBuz — Google review

It's okay. Not too many snakes but there's enough. Both poisonous and constrictors. There's also turtles around and crocodiles There's also an aquarium. You can also hold a snake, probably a Python without paying extra. Good place to chill if you like snakes.

Edwin K — Google review

The first time we came to the snake park we weren't impressed, it seemed a little boring. However, we thought we'd try again and this time we got a guide to show us round. The experience was so much better, as he was very knowledgeable and explained all about the snakes and animals. The highlight was my son getting to hold a snake! Would definitely recommend getting a guide if you visit.

Ayaan C — Google review

The place was great. I had a young gentleman who was giving some great facts about the snakes voluntarily. Although we went off to do our tour individually...The fishes in the Aquarium have the information covered. I was not sure why..Overall, great visit, learning place too...

Lydia W — Google review

Nice little park, it’s better to buy the ticket with the museum ticket, (KSH 1500 for both). There are many snakes in the building, all of them in containers so it’s a bit sad, most of the reptiles aren’t moving which is understandable. Lots of vipers and mambas, they have a black mamba as well. There are some alligators and a lot of turtles. The fish section is fine with some eels and exotic fish. The entire visit took 20 mins.

Mahmoud D — Google review

Perfect place to visit in kenya , i paid a visit with my cousin and the experience was awesome. Calm and welcoming customers service .It's a zone of reptiles where by snakes 🐍 are majority, also aquatic weren't left behind. Looking forward to pay a visit with the family once again.

Travelling to typical tourist places like this off season is super chill, we had the place and reptils almost for ourselves 🎉 the children were thrilled to be allowed to hold snakes and turtles under supervision of their gardian, Who had all the time In the world to answer their questions. We enjoyed a tasty traditional lunch at the cafe with a cozy garden and the most patient staff 🤍

Amazing place to visit. Good for all ages. Interactive exhibits.

David H — Google review

Great place to see a diversity of East African snakes. Guides are available if you want more information on each snake or to hold a snake or tortoise. They also have fresh water aquarium and 50+ year old American alligator + Nike crocodile

Damon T — Google review

Its a great place to learn about snakes in Kenya. If you are a Kenyan citizen, get your tickets from e-citizen.The missing 1 star is because there is a false website for combined museum and snake park visit. People are coned through that website, please check on this. Also if you want to enjoy the snake park on your first visit, buy a combined ticket with museum

Doris N — Google review

Wonderful learning experience for me. I held two snakes!!! THAT WAS LITERALLY THE MOST EXCITING PART. A SNAKE !!!You guys !!! Go visit though they have a marine aquarium , saw a star fish, they also have a 'fresh water' aquarium, various types of snakes and crocodiles, tortoise and what seemed like a fresh water turtle whose named I don't remember.

Kashkash O — Google review

The Snake Park at the National Museum of Kenya in Nairobi was a nice addition to the museum. It was right in the premise. It gave some detailed accounts of various kinds of poisonous snakes that live in Kenya and Africa. The volunteer guide again was very helpful and made the visit very interesting. We tipped him at the end of our visit.

Bina S — Google review

Fantastic place. It’s not just about snakes

Bruno F — Google review

If you love reptiles you will enjoy the visit to the snake park but generally the museum is a beautiful place to visit for nature lovers and historians. Very informative and you leave wowed by the beauty and history of our nation

Eric M — Google review

If you are visiting Snake Park, it is in the Nairobi National Museum. You have to log in to ecitizen to make payment, which takes a while. However, you can pay in advance if you are working on a planned schedule. I recommend the combined ticket which costs Ksh 300 per person and you get to tour the gallery and the Snake park which on their own costs Ksh 200 each. You will get to see tortoise, turtle, and crocodile as well. There are two restraunts in the museum for you to eat from. You get to access a lot of information in the gallery on Kenyan history, animals, culture, economy as well as human history with different artefacts on display. You can also purchase art from the art gallery.

Samuel K — Google review

Abuse of animals for the selfish pleasure of humans. The scariest thing was that children were allowed into the tortoiseshell/rabbit enclosure by the staff. There they chased the rabbits and lifted the wriggling animals by their ears! The turtles were also constantly picked up for selfish selfies, roughly carried around by some children, hit on the shell and even dropped once! The zoo is in an appalling state. Small enclosures, dirty, noisy. Not species-appropriate husbandry. The animals sit in concrete tanks. The crocodiles don't even have enough water to dive!Completely insensitive and inconsiderate treatment of living creatures without respect. And that 7 days a week.Nobody wants to be treated like that themselves, but other living creatures are expected to be.I asked the staff to protect the animals - they complied willingly.I don't understand it: on the one hand, people fervently pray to God and his mercy, on the other hand, animals are abused, put on display and treated disrespectfully. Are these not also creations of God according to this logic? This place should be banned. But karma will sort it out - anyone who treats living beings so ruthlessly will always experience it again in their own life.Think about it.

The Nairobi Arboretum is an environmental organization that offers a tranquil and picturesque location for weddings. It has beautiful nature grounds that are perfect for photo shoots, and the organization provides affordable wedding venues to couples all year long.

The best place to find peace. The monkeys are friendly, the service providers at the entrance are also friendly. It's peaceful in there, that type you can also get when you need prayers as people also come for their prayers here.It is also preferable for family time, bonding with your loved ones and lovers. It's the best place to be in a sunny afternoon.

One of my favorite places in Nairobi so far. Do you want just to chill, are you looking for a place to spend time with your loved one, or you just want to have quiet time and read a catching book without disturbance. This is your best place. Full of trees and amazing and you can even study them or go jogging. Have fun at this place… and when you reach there please come back and tell me what you thought of the place.

Such a place. Cool and let's your mind sink and concentrate.. great place to hold team building or even prayers as a group or personal prayers alone ... And charges are as low as 105 per person and 100 if entering as a group .. for photography you need ksh. 1325 for the camera and 3500 for to do videography while you can film at ksh 48000 .. It's such a gem in town ..

A beautiful park, tucked away in the ever bustling Nairobi city.It was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was. There was a 65 shillings fee to be paid at the gate before entering the park. There are various fees listed on the booth, especially for those wanting to do photo shoots etc.The park was nice and cool, I was meeting someone here and I found where they were sitting with ease. There are a few benches scattered around, as well as ice cream carts to buy a treat. It would be an ideal place to hold a picnic or just go there to quietly enjoy a book. It feels rather safe and there are washrooms towards the entrance.I can’t wait to visit again

Beautifully manicured and also with a natural feel. Plenty of tracks, paved or dirt. Plenty of areas to sit on a bench, log, tree stump or on the grass, as a group or solo. Lots of shade. Happy vibes on the weekends. Toilets available. Most affordable park fees I have experienced at 65ksh.

The Aboratum nature walk in Nairobi is a hidden gem that offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. This nature trail is located just a few minutes' drive from the city center and is perfect for nature lovers, bird watchers, and anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The walk spans over 5 kilometers and is nestled in a forested area that is home to a variety of flora and fauna. The path can be narrowed at times, requiring some maneuvering, but is generally well-maintained. The walk is easy to navigate, with tree signage indicating different trail routes, making it perfect for hikers of different skill sets. The Absoratum forest is a breathtaking sight to behold, with towering trees that create a canopy that filters the sunlight beautifully. The trail’s serene atmosphere and natural beauty make it a fantastic place to unwind and find inner peace. As a bird watcher, I was thrilled to spot several species of birds in the forest, including the African pied wagtail, African harrier hawk, and olive sunbird. The walk is not just a feast for the eyes but also the ears, with birdsongs filling the air, making for a truly immersive experience.Overall, the Aboratum nature walk is a must-visit when in Nairobi and a fantastic place to enjoy nature's beauty. The trail offers a delightful escape from the busy Nairobi city, with a serene environment to relax and unwind. So, I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting or living in Nairobi.

I went for a solo walk and I never felt any safer. This park is easily accessible from Westlands via the kileleshwa road on foot, personal car or psv and also in town if you use the YMCA side. Although the entrance fee has increased to KES 110 it is still quite affordable. If you compare it with other park fees, this is probably the most affordable. You pay via mpesa as opposed to Ecitizen which is a relief honestly. This park is very well organised. There are arrows guiding you onto different paths with markings of the distance on each path. The paths range from very short, to medium walks. There are also some paths with a bit of steep climbing to really get a good workout. If you also want to just relax on the grass or chairs and read a book, this is also an option. Given there are plenty of people who use this park for prayers and can thus get loud, there are still plenty of quite spaces especially near the bamboo trees. There are a few monkeys as well. If you want to make a family day out of it, there is a kids play area with swings and slides. That particularly area is huge and can definitely accommodate more games such as badminton if you have the rackets, hula hooping... one can get creative. I think this park is ideal for walkers, joggers, book club meetings, group games like treasure hunts and such, dates because it isn't isolated, yoga in the park and such activities. I really enjoyed my walks here. It is also very clean. I definitely recommend the park. There is a plant nursery not sure if one can buy plants or not. Would be a wonderful way to contribute to the park for upkeep and all. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Nairobi Arboretum is a serene environment with beautiful naturally green trees and with running or walking tracks. Also it has got relaxation seats with a 360 view of the forest trees. Real enjoyable place.

Joshua M — Google review

Very nice place for walking and relaxing . But the guard wont let you to take plastic bottle of water into park. Also they give money for camera and I think it's not necessary to take camera. I haven't seen any monkey

Masoud H — Google review

A good place to relax when tired and bored with the city life..it is also affordable 65 bob per headIt is a good place for family as it has a playing station for kids

Larry M — Google review

Very cool place to chill, jog or run. You can take your family for a picnic, kids can run around and play. Ball games and cycling is however not allowed. For citizens over 11 years old, the entrance fee is KES 65 only which is paid via M-Pesa. Cash is not accepted. There are long trails, and pavements. You don't have to wear hiking boots as long you stick to the pavements. However if you want to go through the woods I would suggest bringing some good boots. You can also get ice cream in here for KES 50 only. If you don't want that, you can also bring your own food.

Edwin K — Google review

Ok, but I expected something more than casual park. To be honest, there's no difference between European parks and it's even worse, no water, almost no animals. Buying ticket experience is terrible and slow 🤷

Bartosz P — Google review

Great place ,first time there, and it's nice.....if you are looking for a quiet place ,that's the right place for yousometimes there may be a lot of people, quiet ,clean, no dirt, no plastics are allowed....

Yram N — Google review

I want to start with why I gave it 3 stars. The reason behind it is because they ask a huge price difference between locals and tourists. They also require you to throw away all the plastic bottles that you have with you. Even though you have other plastic stuff with you, they only care about bottles. The park has some wild animals. But the main point of it would say is the picnic area. Of course, there are some really nice pathways that you can go and roam around, but not actually get lost.

Daniel F — Google review

For picnics team building activities and datesEntry charges very affordable 100 bob per person

Rennis N — Google review

I will give this place a five ⭐ because it is the best for outdoor activities with family, friends and relatives. The environment is clean 🫧 and the place is also suitable for solo nature trails.

Kelvin M — Google review

Such an amazing place to visit, it's such a quiet and soothing environment, the scent of some trees is just so wow, enough space for jogging, picnics, walks and reading and they also have a tree nursery where you can purchase tree seedlings.

This is a great place to reconnect back with nature, hold events or just sleep under the shade. As for outdoor worship and praise...it's the best.

African S — Google review

Very relaxing green environment for walks, picnic, jogging and events, always carry your reusable water bottle, plastic bottles not allowed, entry fee is around 150-200There are monkeys but didn’t get a picture of them.

Lucy O — Google review

I had such a wonderful experience. The Arboretum is perfect for a nice walk or workout at anytime of the day. Cost varies per foreigner or citizen but it is affordable. They don't let you come in with plastic containers so bring a personal water bottle for liquids if you need to bring one or feel free to buy from the local vendors in the area.

The Nairobi Arboretum is a true gem in the heart of the city, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Spanning over 30 hectares, this green oasis is home to more than 350 species of indigenous and exotic trees, creating a lush and diverse landscape that is perfect for nature lovers.Visitors can enjoy peaceful walks along well-maintained trails, where the sights and sounds of birds and other wildlife enhance the experience. The Arboretum is also a great spot for picnics, with plenty of shaded areas and open spaces for families and friends to relax and unwind.Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the jogging paths and open areas suitable for yoga or group exercises. The park's tranquil environment makes it an ideal place for meditation and reflection, away from the city's noise and stress.Educational tours are available, making the Arboretum a valuable resource for learning about Kenya's rich botanical heritage. Additionally, the space often hosts cultural events and outdoor performances, adding to its charm and appeal. With ample parking, security, and cleanliness maintained throughout, the Nairobi Arboretum offers a safe and enjoyable experience for all ages. Whether you're looking to connect with nature, engage in outdoor activities, or simply find a quiet spot to read a book, the Nairobi Arboretum is a wonderful destination to visit.

The National Museum of Kenya (NMWK) is a museum in Nairobi, Kenya. It has collections on East African heritage and history, including paintings, tribal artefacts, and a skeleton or two. The museum also houses collections on nature, culture, and contemporary art. The main attraction is the early man section with fossils dating back to 18 million years ago.

Completely enjoyed my visit to this museum. They had 9 galleries encompassing everything from history, anthropology, animal kingdom, Kenyan tradition and more. You can get a tour guide to show you around free of charge, who was very good and knowledgeable, and I tipped very well. There are several gift shops, a restaurant, a small garden, and a snake display for an additional charge. It’s a very good visit.

Robert M — Google review

One of the best ways to spend a day in nairobi. Was a pleasant surprise. We were there for 3.5hours but it still felt rushed. We had an awesome time. Its clean, modern and oh so rich. There’s culture, history, an aquarium, a snake/reptile park, a nature walk and a cafe. You have an option to take a guide (a must for our next visit). The staff all around are excellent and the charges extremely reasonable. Was pleasantly surprised at how many people were visiting. My personal favorites were the snake park and the banking history. Very wide variety of snakes.

Berny K — Google review

Worth your time and money.Artifacts are well kept and maintained.A lot to learn about the history of Kenya. But the museum should come up with rules to regulate the school going children from making too much noise and jumping all over. Would advise going on a weekend or when the school's are closed.

Great place where you can get a very good knowledge about the history of Kenya (different tribes and their traditions, road to independence, animals and plants present in Kenya, etc) and hundreds of different species of birds in Kenya and nearby countries are displayed. Highly recommended for kids and youngsters. A guided tour is preferable and will be very much knowledgeable. Also there is an art gallery. Lots of free parking spaces available. Easily accessible by Uber. Paid entrance fee which you can combine with that of the Snake centre to get a better deal. Also restaurants where you can enjoy some tasty foods at reasonable prices. Its better to avoid visiting on Saturdays as it can be very crowded with students.

Arif T — Google review

I very much enjoyed visiting Nairobi National Museum and the Snake Park.I was amazed by the African bird exhibit and the literally thousands of birds they had on display. A wealth of information for African wildlife fans. The central back and currency section was fascinating also. I hadn't realized how much foreign influence there was in Kenya and their banking system. The snake park was interesting and lots of variety of venomous and non-venomous snakes on display. The red spitting cobra seemed the most interested in us and say upright most of the time we were near that display. Also several turtles and crocodiles on display. The only thing I felt disappointed with was the much bigger cost for non-residents. It's common here in Kenya, but the difference for citizens and non-residents is steep. But not so much as the national parks here. 🤣

Bret B — Google review

The place to go if you wanna discover more about the history of Kenya and some of the animals within. The snake park too is an awesome place to visit, especially if you wanna unlearn some myths about snakes. There's beautiful aquarius with beautiful fish too...

Mercy M — Google review

We really enjoyed the museum of Kenya. I think its more enjoyable to see it at the end of your safari if you are doing one as the ground floor is filled with preserved animals and you can find the names and details of animals you have spotted. The bird section and fossils are especially interesting. My favorite area was the second floor which covered Kenya’s history and struggle for independence. The customs and costumes of the local tribes. Don’t miss Joy Adamson’s portraits of the people of Kenya They are wonderful. We had a few problems with the ticket as you have to use the new e-citizen website and I recommend you setup an account before you get to Kenya ad it was needed by many of the government run attractions. If you have time in Nairobi do visit the museums, its not the best museum ever but its interesting and worth a visit. The location seems very safe and everyone was super nice.

The museum was a great experience (especially on a raining day in Nairobi). Our residence permits for us into the museum and snake park for 600. Museum offered a wide range of history and artwork representing Kenya’s culture, wildlife and political history. The snake park was a great addition where you can see reptiles and tropical fish. For the fullest experience I would allocate 1-2 hours for the museum and 30-60 minutes for snake park. Great for all ages and very family friendly with helpful staff and tour guide options.

Despite visiting on a Saturday which is one of their busy days still felt very comfortable as it is quite big and spacious so ddnt feel crowded at all in most of the sections. Spent about an hr and a half (which was definitely worth it). Lots to see and is very family friendly

Good to see but the guides could be better. They volunteer for tips so felt like my guide just rushed me through so I'd learn more by reading on my own.Still there are interesting things to see and definitely should be on your museum list.

I wasn't sure how good an experience the museum would be. But I really liked it. Especially because we got a free guide to take us around and explain to us the animal, humankind, and Kenyan history. I learned a lot about Kenya during this museum visit. We tipped the guide for his volunteer service.

A collection of bird sculptures is there. You can learn about the history of Kenya and its wildlife. I like this place. Foreigners need to fill out a citizen form prior to entering the museum. There is also a snake park, which includes pythons and some local Kenyan snakes. Both the museum and snake park will cost you 1550 KES.

Hey viewers,This location is good for exploring about life of human, also lots of thinks connected with history of kenya. It's awesome place but there also some issues like a entry charges, food court there is lots of hidden charges. Like if you want pay cash on desk they are not accepting cash only Mpaisa. If you wont pay cash you need pay 80 shelling extra, I had buy some food is too expensive like one cocacola 500ml is 300 shelling. So I hope in future it's will be improv.Otherwise this place is nice, also there have one snake 🐍 parck lots of types snake available there. It's nice place 👍

What a beautiful museum. I visited today and spent about 3.5 hours here. Bring cash - I paid 1280 shillings. I also recommend that you take your time and walk around without a guide. There are sections of the museum dedicated to the history of Kenya, archeological discoveries, different animals (including a dedicated section of thousands of types of birds), and cultural artifacts. My favorite part was seeing fossils of some of the oldest humans. Stop by the two gift shops, the garden by the Snake park, and the restaurant.

Great museum with a thorough history of Kenya. An incredibly large collection of birds and wildlife found in Kenya as well. It is a great rainy day activity for family of all ages.If you can, I recommend buying tickets ahead of time using the evisa website. There are guides available, for cash, once you arrive at the museum which I recommend. The official, written descriptions are infrequent, so a guide really makes the experience.

We had a delightful afternoon in the museum. I have been to world famous museums like the Smithsonian’s in the USA, and I’d rank this up there with them. It has good displays on the evolution, natural history and Kenya’s national history. All 3 displays were fascinating, factual yet insightful. We received a tour from museum volunteer Griffin and he was splendid at explaining and answering our questions. We are an inquisitive family.

This museum has a variety of collections all related to Kenyan history and wildlife. I was particularly amazed by the bird collection and the skulls in the “Cradle of human kind gallery”. Well worth a visit. I only had 1.5 hours and felt too rushed. I think I could have spent double that. Buy your ticket online as they don’t accept cash.

The best Mall by far, the security is top notch with ample parking with wheel chair services. There are many stores and eatery as well as bowling and gaming lounges. You will love it.

Absolutely stunning mall! Made me feel like I was back in Tel Aviv haha. Beautiful architecture, an immense array of stores, colorful, lively, and bright. Lots of restaurant options, great clothing and electronic stores, and plenty of entertainment. Totally recommend this place for anyone and everyone.

Nehemiah W — Google review

Excellent variety of stores and entertainment. Cinema, sports shops, chemist, supermarket, atm, banks, safaricom etc. European style mall.

Javed K — Google review

Plenty of activities and stores to cater to your various needs. The food court has an array of restaurants to choose from. The building is generally easy to navigate and accessible to people with disabilities. The cinema, however, is difficult to access for individuals in a wheelchair. Bowling activities add to the allure of the place though wait times can be extensive on weekends.

Brian M — Google review

Beautiful Mall I make sure I visit every time am in Nairobi full of convenient shops and restaurants.

Juliana S — Google review

I call it 'Heaven" . Resting at the heart of one of the richest neighbourhoods in Nairobi, Westlands, Westgate Mall is by far the City's shopping and entertainment hotspot. The beauty, elegance, ambience and diversity of this hub are the first of glances you make as you step into it. From world's famous food chains, cinema giants, clothing brands and best of retailers are all members of this Heaven. It is definitely worth it driving into Westgate mall one of this fine days with family and friends.

Nature & Parks

Karura Forest is a quiet and tranquil park perfect for nature lovers who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The 10k trail is scenic and offers a unique opportunity to experience natural beauty at its finest. There are also picnic tables, off-leash dog areas, a plant nursery, and tennis courts available for use.

This is my place I love every serene quiet moment...just my feet hitting the ground just amazing. For guys who have dogs and horses there are trails designated for you and your animals 👍🏽Cycling is an option of you don't want to run or walk.🚴‍♀️🚵‍♂️Amazing place to be especially in the early morning when the sun is rising between the trees 🌞🌞 beautiful thing to see.If you have the time there's an amazing resting area and nice coffee shop at the entry point 😊😊As always COVID regulations are being observed.

Shalin N — Google review

Great escape from hectic Nairobi. This side was my favourite - quiet, beautiful and calm. But you can cross the road into the other bit - just remember to keep your receipt when you buy your ticket.Gets muddy after rain so boots recommended. Oh and no plastic water bottles allowed in the reserve!

Fiona P — Google review

What a fantastic experience. Enjoyed a peaceful morning walk with fresh air and all the beautiful trees. On the main path, it took me just over an hour. Looking forward to my next walking adventure

Valerie S — Google review

Feel like keeping fit! Hiking, cycling, jogging and competing races! This is the place. Retreats and good food. This is the place. And you can’t miss the pleasantries the nature.

Tom O — Google review

Amazing place in the city! You can visit the waterfall taking great pictures, exploring the caves and have a nice walk in the forest with sightseeing of monkeys and dik dik

D L — Google review

Such serenity!!!! It is not crowded as the other side of Karura. It is fully forested so the walk is under the canopy... well-defined paths and lots of space for nature to just be! If you're a nature lover, this is a must visit.

Kagunda C — Google review

Always my preferred trail. So quiet, with great views of nature. Currently very hot as there are limited shady paths although this is not usually the case. Hopeful for the rains

Bonnyface E — Google review

The forgotten love child when it comes to the Karura gates. Featuring a café, bike rental shop, and an obstacle course to boot; Sigiria does not disappoint. Oh and did I mention the dogs? It’s a little slice of heaven. Give it a visit if you can.

Beverley M — Google review

Sigiria Gate of GATE F of Karura Forest. Access to pristine nature lovers trails, direct interaction with nature. Family Eatery present. Great for clearing the mind while burning those calories. Ample parking and security. Gate charges per car and per person apply. Payable with Mobile Money or Cards ONLY.

Eric N — Google review

Always a good time, but avoid Gate F in times of rain.

Muthoni G — Google review

Very nice park within the city. Has a lot of option for trails. Everything is very well marked. Bonus the All trails app has the trails available as well. There are several gates. Make sure to look at the detailed map to see if it takes you to the gate. Originally it took us to a private gate that doesn’t connect to the park.

Anamika N — Google review

This serene forest is a perfect retreat for outdoor enthusiasts seeking a peaceful escape. Its lush canopy provides a cool, shaded haven where people gather to hike, have picnics, and reconnect with nature. The tranquil atmosphere and the gentle rustling of leaves create an ideal setting for relaxation and outdoor activities.

Hay W — Google review

I love to go to Sigiria as a comparison part it's more density hills river gives more joys. Hills make more cardiology benefits . Most of its 5 and 10 km lanes are integrated except few corners

Deepak K — Google review

It's a great in the city place to walk. The signage for the routes isn't direct to interpret if you are new to the forest and one can therefore end up taking a longer or shorter route than intended or exit at a different gate.

Katerina N — Google review

Perfect outdoorsy place and . Well marked trails and very secure. Take advantage of the open woodland to soak in nature. It's a bit slippy now owing to the rains songrab a pair of trail trainers

Fredrick L — Google review

A very clean park, great for running, jogging or cycling. Usually not crowded, even on weekends. There is a small cafe at the gate and a picnic area as well with a trampoline and rope walking for kids.

Paul M — Google review

Very ideal for a casual walk, a hike, a jog. There is sufficient security provided by the Kenya Forest Service wardens. That said, there is provision for one to tag along their pet like dogs and conquer the hike trail. One thing is for sure; this place provides the aura of relaxation and peace. Away from the hustle and bustle of city life. For those that like to immerse themselves in the ambience of nature, this is the place to be. I did not see one but I bet this place is a good ground for Yoga enthusiasts. Birding and photography also has a place here. If you like everything botanical, most of the trees are labelled and you can gain insight of the local species of trees here. Highly recommended place.

Ouya O — Google review

Great day taking the dogs for a walk! So grateful we have this forest

Julie B — Google review

Best Park in the city. Its less crowded compared to the main forest, and the 10k trail is scenic and serene. The trails are well maintained, Rent a bike and enjoy the ambience.

Kamau G — Google review

One of my favourite places to go and walk or ride my bike. This side is smaller than the other side but generally less busy. If you want to escape the hecticness of the city, this is the place to come.

Craig — Google review

100% recommend Karura forest for jogging, running, walking, picnics, chilling, meditating, sleeping, resting. It's nature at its best and breathing in the fresh forest air is healing to the soul!

The United Nations Visitors Service in Nairobi offers guided tours of the UN compound, providing an opportunity to learn about the organization's history and operations. The compound is considered one of the most beautiful in the world, making it a must-see for visitors to Nairobi. There is a small fee for both residents and non-residents, but it is reasonable.

Shopping

The Village Market is a large and eclectic mix of stores and restaurants, as well as a sophisticated shopping center. It is the longest-running market in Nairobi, and has expanded to include events like the Maasai Market, which brings together over 400 artisans from all over Kenya who specialize in ethnic relics. The Village Market is located in Gigiri, one of Kenya's largest shopping complexes with over 150 stores.

Gorgeous mall, with lots to do. Beautiful architecture and design with artistic treasures hidden around each corner! It's a bit too big and can be easy to get lost in though.

Alissa S — Google review

I’m going against the grain here. This mall/shopping center is massive and many people have recommended it. It has a lot to offer and I can see how this would be a good hangout for those with little kids. The various play areas, the bowling alley, VR and trampoline park makes it a great location for children. The restaurants are diverse and you can find pretty much anything you want.I gave this 3 stars because if you want to get lost…very lost, this is the perfect place for you! This place is a proper maize! There is no signage outside or inside. And finding a virtual map online is impossible. I can see how those accustomed to this chaos are fine with it’s a it is. But for new people, or visitors…this is not my first choice. There are plenty of other shopping centers that are much easier to navigate.

Elisa H — Google review

This stands to be my favorite mall ever since I was a kid(I really do miss the water slides). As an adult now I have come to love the feel of the mall it’s just enough for me to have meetings bring kids for a fun time and for date nights! A fave restaurant is The Local Grill!

King K — Google review

Very nice mall with lots of restaurants and shops. Definitely a place to visit. Not because of history, but it’s an interesting place with areas kind of “outside”. Cityfeeling inside a mall. Definitely a place to visit for dinner or just coffee. Big Carrefour with all you need. Several atm’s. Easy access. Norwegian embassy is just around the corner. We enjoyed our afternoon at the Village Market, having dinner at Zeytoon, Lebanese restaurant.

Rune T — Google review

My experiences at Village Market have always been pleasant, so much so that I always find a reason to go back. From the friendly people who frequent the mall, cleanliness, general respectful behavior from guards and mall staff, etc., is enough to keep anyone coming back. But, if this isn’t enough for you, be assured you’ll find your pick of shopping items at the mall. Great antique stores ,cultural home decor, assorted fashion items, beautiful jewelry. Exotic cuisine, cafes, and more.Despite being a gem, it’s never brim full during the weekdays (a better time to visit in my opinion)but it can look packed over the weekend. If you’re eating then, do get a reservation beforehand.Generally, it’s a space you’re least likely gonna leave displeased with your experience.I highly recommend

Mogoah, L — Google review

Nice mall with great variety of shops and restaurants. Clean and lot of safety measures. Free WiFi, helpful and friendly stuff. Can get very busy during the weekend and takes time to get away by car/uber.Also quite hectic to navigate through the mall when you are there for the first time.

Leon S — Google review

Very nice establsihment. Tones of activities (Bowling,Virtual Racing,Band playing) multiple restaurants. Very active place, great service. Good parking space.

WILLIAM O — Google review

Village Market is your one stop shop for everything: shopping, food courts, fashion and accessory stores, bowling alley, furniture stores, financial institutions, artsand so on. The scenery is breathtaking and artistic.

Cee — Google review

It's large and newly built. It has 3 floors and a big underground parking. On the first and second floor you can find shops and boutiques of all world most famous brands. Various goods are offered: clothes, shoes, beauty products, furniture.

EFRAN — Google review

An architectural marvel, this spacious mall leaves nothing to be desired. Its multi-level layout includes a large variety of retail outlets, boasting both global brands and niche finds. If you’re a shopping enthusiast, this is your haven. Although expansive, the navigation can be a bit challenging. Don’t let that deter you, the thrill of discovery around each corner is part of its charm. And with a kid-friendly environment, it’s an ideal location for family outings.

Lisangola C — Google review

The parking areas are well-maintained, with clear signage and designated parking zones, which helps to streamline the parking process. The security personnel are also present to ensure the safety of both vehicles and visitors, providing a sense of reassurance. The Village Market also offers various entertainment options for visitors. The lively atmosphere is infectious, and it's always a pleasure to stroll through the Village Market and soak in the energy. In conclusion, the Village Market in Nairobi is a fantastic shopping and dining destination. With its diverse range of stores, impressive restaurant selection, ample parking facilities, and vibrant atmosphere, it offers a well-rounded experience for visitors. Whether you're looking to shop, dine, or simply enjoy the ambiance, the Village Market is definitely worth a visit.

Sampa S — Google review

Not a bad mall. Be better if it had a LC Waikiki though. The recent upgrades certainly make the pace look great. This shouldn’t be a bad point but it feels more of a mall for food than anything else.So many restaurants to choose from.

Thomas G — Google review

This is a very big shopping mall with a wide range of shops. One cannot miss whatever you are looking for. I got my visa photo at the Village Photo Shop within the mall. It's really convenient to get to. Just a quick one minute walk from the bus stop across Limuru Road.

Oh it was magnificent! There was rock climbing and to add on top of it, there was also diving into waters as deep as 40 feet, for the ones who swam, they had fun though I didn't cz I forgot my costume. Bit the scorching hot sun was good in drying those who swam .

Diego L — Google review

The food took too long (2hrs) but it was delicious when it landed. The kids were too hungry by then. Joints that sell alcohol use this method to push sales but this being a non-alcohol outlet, it was a bit confusing. We ordered for tea but the response we got was shocking: NO MILK.The structures could also do with some repair work. But the kids enjoyed running around and swinging on the rickety swings. I guess that's what's important for a parent treating them on closing day.

The tour covers the estate's history and takes visitors through the various stages of coffee production. Additionally, tourists get to enjoy a buffet lunch in an exquisite ballroom, sample different types of coffee and visit the estate's shop.

A stellar experience! A long and beautiful walk through a quality coffee farm, informative and interesting. You’ll never take a cup of coffee for granted after this tour!

I had a fantastic tour at Karunguru coffee. There was a lot to learn and our tour guide, Anthony, was very knowledgeable about various aspects of the coffee industry. It was quite an eye-opening experience, and I whole-heartedly recommend spending a day there for anyone who would like to know more about coffee. And of course, you will drink lots of amazing Karunguru coffee, and buy some to take with you!!!

Heaven on earth. Great environment and exceptional coffee. The staff are very friendly and keen to detail, I was really moved by their dedication to service. Everything at Karunguru is lovely for lack of a better word. 💯 recommended.

I had an incredible experience visiting the coffee farm! The guided walk around the plantation was both educational and enjoyable. Learning about the coffee plants and seeing the coffee seeds up close was truly fascinating. While we unfortunately missed our lunch booking, the staff was understanding and promised us a refund. Despite the small hiccup, the overall visit was a memorable and insightful journey into the world of coffee production.

Johntez N — Google review

I signed up for the coffee tour for my husband and myself as he really likes coffee. We learned a lot about the process of growing/making good-quality coffee. We also enjoyed coffee tasting and delicious food that were grown on the farm. The staff and owner there were very nice and helpful throughout the tour, and also at the end when helping us arrange for our ride home! As the tour includes a lot of walking in the sun, make sure you dress appropriately and drink plenty of water if you go on a very hot sunny day!

Amy N — Google review

The tour was amazing, very well organized by the fantastic host, Tony!! He was sensational and managed to explain in a simple way the inherent complexity of coffee production!I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to know a bit more about coffee!!

Ana M — Google review

James hosted an excellent afternoon tour for us around the grounds of the estate. He was very knowledgeable about the various plants and processing of the beans. As we went in the afternoon, we were able to see the pickers who had been out all day start the cherry hopper and start to wash, sort and pulp the beans. We finished with a tasting where we could see how roasting and processing affected the taste of beans grown from the same estate. A fantastic experience I would recommend to anyone interested in coffee in Nairobi.

Amber W — Google review

Excellent tour of a beautiful Kenyan Coffee Farm with fresh brewed coffee of choice and a delicious lunch of local foods. It’s definitely worth visiting and is just out of Nairobi toward Mount Kenya and the 14 falls.

I recently experienced an exceptional coffee farm tour, expertly guided by Anthony, whose passion and knowledge about coffee deeply impressed us. His engaging explanations of the cultivation and harvesting processes, combined with captivating stories about the farm's history, made the tour educational and memorable. The hands-on activities and coffee tasting session, under Anthony's guidance, were highlights, offering a deeper appreciation for the art of coffee. Anthony's enthusiasm transformed this tour into a fascinating and enriching experience I highly recommend.-J0hn

It is such a lovely place! We booked our tour with a very short notice, and they responded immediately even though it was late in the evening. When we arrived, it turned out that we were the only guests this day. The guys took us on a private tour and it was so amazing! We learned a lot about the process of making coffee and about different types of beans, they answered all of our questions, we had a nice walk through the fields, and tasted the delicious coffee. Totally worth visiting!
